Have now had these tires going on two years - easily one of the best sets of tires I have ever had on any vehicle. My van actually requires an 'H' rated tire, but they were virtually impossible to get, short of the poor OEM tires. Selected these based on a rare 'A' rating for temperature in this 'T'-rated tire.

In every way, this tire has been an upgrade. They stop shorter, handle better, and are quieter. And these are, without a doubt, the best all-season tires I have ever had in Winter conditions. The only negative has been a bit of a fuel economy hit. But for what these tires have given me, it has been a price well worth it.

For the price, or paying far more, I can't imagine finding a better tire.

Hyundai Sonata requires a V rated tire, which is hard to find. Original was Michelin MXV Energy S8. I got 55K out of the originals and loved them, but the cost to replace with OEM was way too high for no treadwear warranty. Had MXV on Hondas and got terrible treadwear. Didn't want to chance poor treadwear again. Cooper CS4 Touring looked like a great tire and it runs smooth and quiet. In the rain it grips like a tiger paw. No snow yet, but soon. So far I set at 35 PSI because at installed 32 I was getting terrible MPG. Now it is 5 less than the MXV. I got 33 MPG with MXV and around 28 with CS4. Not many ratings out there for V rated tires. These balanced with hardly any weights. Run a little softer than the MXV, but are lighter too. I like the tire a lot, but not the reduced MPG. Other choices were Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum or Hankook Optima 418, but they had bad reviews. Goodyears just don't have it and Pilot was way too high. Cooper is an Ohio tire and price and rebate made it hard to pass up. Good steering and no bumps on rough road.

I purchased my Camry new with Bridgestone tires. They rode rough and noisy, the dealer told me the day I purchased my care I could expect to get about 28,000 miles, which is exactly when I replaced them with the CS4 Touring V-rated Cooper. In the 50 plus cars I have owned I can say I have never had a tire I was more impressed with. It kept feeling like I had bought a new car, I now have a smooth quiet ride, with very impressive handling. I could not ask for more! Until now I have been loyal to a different tire brand but Cooper has won me over. I will replace the tires on my wife's Lexus with a set of CS4's just as soon as they need replacing. Folks this is an amazing tire and I have not been paid to say this. I have owned a lot of tires in the course of owning 50 cars....& these are the best for sure. Happy motoring! Les

I have never written a review on a product but I have been thoroughly satified with these tires. Low noise, great handling, and long tread wear. First set I put on my Chevy Malibu I truly got 82,000 miles out of them with a little tread left and no slipping. The set I have on my Saturn Vue have 79,000 mile on them and are still going strong. PEOPLE, GET THIS TIRE!!!!!!

I was very happy with the amount of road noise from these tires--LOW. Previous tires were very loud. Also happy with traction--have never had any spinning or other loss of traction, even in poor weather. Treadwear is more than adequate, just ensure you properly rotate the tires for maximum treadwear. Will replace current set with these same tires when needed.

I have these tires on my wifes lincoln MKZ and my daughters Dodge Avenger, and they are by far the best multipurpose tire I've ever put on anything. I travel interstate and country roads with lots of curves. When the wife isn't with me I am amazed at how these tires will hold a curve lol. They even hold great in wet weather and they are great in snow too. Have bought these before and will continue buying as long as they dont do something stupid like discontinue them. They are also quiet on the highway. Getting a set for the mother in law this week.

Everyone wants to know...is this the right tire for me? I'm gonna do you a favor and list the reasons I chose Cooper CS4's: 1-Cooper is Owned & Headquartered in the United States 2-They do produce tires off shore, but the CS4's are made here 3-You're supporting American jobs & families when you choose CS4's 4-I've spent over a year looking at every tire option for my 2009 Van; there's only two other tires I seriously considered - Hankook's Optimo & Michelin Defender 5-Cost/Value is better than both above when you look at rated tread life compared to cost 6-Even if you're a Michelin fan (and the Defender is really an incredible tire), you can buy two more Cooper CS4's ($200) for the difference in pricing...think about that...6 Coopers for the cost of 4 Michelin's 7-Sweet sidewall pattern/design. These tires look great! 8-Deep tread pattern at 12.5 mm. Compare to Michelin's at 11 mm, and then drive through a Minnesota snow storm. You'll wish you had the deepest tire tread available. 9-Quiet Ride; Great Handling. I bought one size wider (235 vs 225) which fills up my wheel well and gives a much more stable feel to the vehicle especially when cornering 10-There's only a handful of tires rated at 80,000 K or more, and here's one of them. 11-They're on sale! I just got my $50 debit card in the mail...love it. 12-Find your own installer and save a few more bucks. 13-Look around...you'll see Cooper's on plenty of other vehicles. 14-My buddy just bought Cooper AT3's for his Durango. They're awesome looking, quiet, and he loves 'em! 15-Treadepot has the lowest prices-seriously-I've checked everywhere Best wishes in your decision making process. I'm happy with mine!

This is my second stint with Coopers, had them on my volvo and they were fantastic. Can't wait to run these in the snow! Should be good with all wheel drive. Nice job Cooper!

My OEM GY's broke a belt @ 38K, I got some off the wall replacement that wore out by 27K and replaced those with the CS4 Touring. With just over 95,000 miles on this set,(which have never been rotated), I'm on my way to get a new set this A.M. Great tire all around in handling, rain down pour's and even snow which is rare here, but, does happen. I'm a fan forever.

I have 60,000 miles on this tire and I can honestly say that they are great tires and have lived up to their hype. They still have some tread wear left so I think they'll go another 10,000 miles. They were an immediate improvement in the noise level over the original Michelin tires. I drive in the deep south and cannot comment about traction in the snow, but in heavy rain they are great. They go through standing water with no hydroplaning. I intend to replace these tires with Cooper tires because they're good all around tires and I have confidence in them.

Two part review. They were great on my marquis. I am a cop so I have had my share of tires! I am impressed with the tires so much I put them on my girlfriends Caddy SRX (AWD). Unfortunately in July some ditz t-boned her. She was hit so hard the gas cap flew off. Looking at the tire marks that were left in the spin it was easy to determine that the tire caused the spin to stop and prevented her from rolling. Because she was pregnant I guess you can say it saved two lives! I will always buy Cooper!

This is my second set of cs4's for our caddy, we do alot of driving up to northern wisconsin and this tire has performed exellent in every aspect that i have put them throgh, the first set went 50,000 miles probably due to 6 miles of gravel road to get to our cottage, cooper was exellent at pro rating these anyways. If you can find a nicer tire for the money than go for it. This will probably have to be the last set i buy for this car but i will definitly put a set on our next caddy. Thanks Cooper!

This is the third set of Cooper CS4s we've purchased from Treadepot. We already have the same tire on another Lexus RX300. This 2003 Lexus RX300 had Goodyear Integrity stock size 225/70/16. Replaced with oversize 235/65R16. Absolutely amazing transition. While the previous Lexus RX300 had oversize Dunlop Dueler 235/70/16 we really didn't notice such a dramatic improvement as we did going from the stock to the oversize on this SUV. Stock size tires always pulled on the front following the road grading. That completely disappeared with the CS4. Every possible driving condition has been vastly improved. Feels more like a sports car than a SUV. Highly recommend CS4s for anyone wanting to upgrade all handling characteristics. As usual, got excellent price, service, and fast delivery from Treadepot.

This tire is a screaming value. Handling is excellent in wet, or dry. Stick to the road like glue. These are also quiet tires. I've owned Coopers before and they make a great tire. The ride is firm but that's to be expected from a high-end touring tire. A friend recently had Bridgestone Touranza's installed on his car and the Coopers are at leas the equal of the Toranza. No experience in the snow yet, but the open tread looks like it should handle the snow well enough. I give these tires a strong recommendation.

This Impala is my company car. I drive 40k-45k miles per year and most of the miles are on the interstate system. The factory equiped tires were Goodyear LS. I developed a slow leak in one of the tires and the hole was in the side wall so it could not be fixed. Since the tires were almost worn out, I decided to replace all four instead of just one. My service provider (Rick) at Kauffman recommended the Cooper CS4-Touring. On my drive home, I was shocked at how much better my car drove. The differance was so noticible, that I took my car out on the interstate for a high-speed test drive. WOW....The car did not ride that smooth brand new. Time will tell if the 80k treadwear rating will hold up, but I am very pleased with how the Cooper Tires have improved the ride of my Impala. When you spend as much time as I do in your car, "Smooth & Quiet" is a key benefit.

What more can you ask than a 80,000 warrenty on a car?? The handling is great, great tread, and looks like these tires could invest in a lot of miles. Good noise level and very smooth responsiveness. Definitly recommend.

This is our 2nd set of Cooper CS4 tires purchased through Treadepot. First set was purchased after considerable investigation and we weren't disappointed. For the first 20,000 miles the tires were amazing, but we ended up selling the car. Liked the CS4s so much we installed them on our Lexus RX300 (after reading numerous complaints and safety issues about side-wall blowouts on the Bridgestone Duelers that came with the car). Everything is improved. The ride, starting and stopping, and cornering are excellent. Wet weather performance is exceptional. We strongly recommend the tire to anyone wanting a truly outstanding luxury touring tire. BTW, Treadepot has the best price and excellent service.

For being an all season, these are very grippy, they are REALLY quiet compared to most tires when it comes to transmitting road noise. These tires have excellent responsiveness to steering, are directionally better than excellent. Grooves, ridges, side winds do NOT move you around. Further, if you push them to and past their limits, whether it's cornering or braking, they're rock solid stable, dont' squeal, and have very recoverable characteristics - yet have cornering grip well above average.

For a 780 TW rating tire, they have grip that feels like they're more like 280, and that holds true for wet, dry, packed snow. These tires have lasted very well, worn well, and even though worn to the wear bars now, they are NOT "hard" or slick, and even still demonstrated grip in packed snow. I'm an autocrosser, so I DO know what responsive and grippy and cornering grip mean. These are NOT competition tires, they're just really, REALLY good all-seasons.

We are bird watchers from Ohio and this winter we spent two months in S. Texas. We put 6,000 miles on the CS 54 T rated tires in one trip. Most of the driving was interstate but to find the birds in S. Texas, one drives on roads designed for cattle trucks and oil rigger's heavy pick-ups. They performed well -- smooth even on dirt and stone roads. They provided good traction as we had an unusual amount of rain for this region during our trip.

My only complaint was/is some "singing" noise on certain pavements.

My wife and I have been having trouble getting a decent set of tires for our RAV4 for some time now. Tried Michelin and another - both were noisy with alot of vibration from time to time. We had pretty much given up and figured it was our wheels or something. With these Coopers there is no noise and the car drives like it did when it was new. Amazing tires. Thanks Cooper - you're a WINNER !

The OEM Hankook Dynapro AS RH03 were respectable, but I noticed slipping on wet roads with 29,000 miles on them (not a good sign living here in Wisconsin)...I had previous experience with these Cooper CS4 tires (wife's 2003 Honda CRV), and didn't hesitate to get them when they were on sale. They're solid/well built tires along the same quality as you'd see with the pricier Michelins; handle well at 80 mph on the hwy, never once have I lost confidence in the wet, are fairly quiet at hwy speeds, and they feel secure in up to 4" of snow. The tires on my Edge are H rated, and carry the warranty up to 60,000 miles (which I feel I'll get at least 50,000 outta them before I replace them).

I'd reccommend these tires to anyone, and already have to both family, friends, and co-workers. This small American owned (and made in America) company produces a fine product in the CS4 tire.

This is the first time I have bought Cooper tires and it won't be my last. I drive 1,000 miles a week back and forth to work, over 1 million miles in twenty five years of driving and these are the best tires I have ever owned. They give a smooth quiet ride and are fantastic in the rain, I feel very comfortable with wet roads and they grip the road great. I haven't driven them in snow yet but im sure they would be fine. I have read other reviews before I bought these tires and some said they did not get as good of gas milage as they did from their previous tires, but my milage actually went up 2 mpg. Also got a $50.00 rebate and the tires were priced reasonably.

All the positive reviews I read now ring true: very quiet, consistent, stable, great dry and wet traction, and excellent cornering on the family wagon. All around solid daily driver. No snow here yet, but get the impression that they'll be outstanding in the winter.

When we first put these tires on, I thought I was driving a different car - seriously, a different car. Of course, I took the OE tires down to the wear bars, they lasted 27K and were in desperate need of replacing, sliding on on-ramps. I will say this, you know the tires are good when even my wife makes a comment without being provoked about how nice they handle and ride. Like many others, I rarely see a tire last 80K even when rotated every other oil change. We do some bit of gravel driving which will wear down tires faster than a burn out.

Got 200,000+ miles on this van, and these are (so far!) the absolute best riding and quietest tires I've ever had on it. I'm so impressed by them, I'm putting them on my other car next week. Even the kids noticed that they could almost whisper and everyone could still hear what was said. We've kept this van in excellent operating condition, and hope that these tires will let us keep riding smooth toward 250,000 miles.

Have you ever went to stop on a wet road maybe going a little to quick for the conditions and you slid .... and almost hit someone .... your heart pounding ....I have, so I wanted a tire that would perform (stop) on a wet slick road. Well I bought the Cooper CS4 T rated tire .... a fantastic tire. I had my family in our van on a small downhill grade, the road was wet there was a mist in the air when all of a sudden a dog ran across the road in front of me.... the owner standing to the side in the yard watching everything ... I didn't want to hit the dog I hit my brakes as hard as I could .... we wear our seat belts and its a good thing even on a wet slick downhill grade the Cooper CS4 T rated tires "Stopped us on a dime" it through all of us in the van ... well the dog made it... we stopped instantly ... dog owner grabbed her chest with relief .... I have had the tires 1 year and about 12000 miles. Even in snow THEY GO, they cost much less than a Michelin (I have Michelin,s on my other vehicle) but my opinion the CS4 perform just as well and the Cooper CS4 is quiet on the road. Everyone has opinions this is mine, I love my Coopers! (Michelin is a good tire also I'm not trying to run it down just make a comparison) Tim Walker

Purchased these as a replacements to Mich and Conti. I was not expecting much from the tire; however, the handle improvement and ride quality was unexpected. The tire has a 80k warranty, I don't think anything will make that kind mileage, but it has a much better price than the high end competion, it is a very good choice.

This is the second set of CS4's on my Audi Allroad. The first were driven for two years, summer and winter (~50K mi) and I expected to use them for another year but managed to destroy one and decided to replace all four. These are very good (and quiet) on dry pavement (all blacktop in this region) and are excellent in wet conditions; they stick like glue and are very predictable. They hold up well on unpaved roads and while not studded snow tires, do well enough on snow and ice to use them commuting all year. I once managed to get stuck in my driveway when the vehicle high-centered on the snow after making it about a hundred yards. I stepped out and saw all four wheels spinning just as they should; not the tires fault. I will buy these again and intend to put Cooper S/T's on my truck. The CS4's combined with a civilized AWD vehicle are a combination hard to beat.

This tire replaces Continental Extreme Contact tires (excellent tire) because Continental changed the Extreme Contact and they were on national backorder. We needed tires ASAP. I had Cooper HT tires on my diesel Excursion and two sets of them self-destruct from internal belt separation (yes... the tire pressure was correct for the truck). So I was apprehensive about Cooper tires. Anyway, this tire has been a pleasant surprise. It is quiet. It gets excellent dry and wet traction and is very, very good in the the snow (I grew up skiing and know snow only too well). They seem to be wearing well although time will be the ultimate answer on that subject. Aggressive driving is rewarded with a competent tire that will hold lateral Gs well. Initial turn-in is quick but not twitchy. The price was good. Would have given 5 stars but I do not know what the wear will be on the tires yet.

I've tried 3 different sets of tires on our 2000 Neon: A Premium tire, a set of Yokohama Avid Touring tires, and then this set of Coopers CS4's. These Cooper tires have lasted twice as long as the others. I kept all of them at the same pressures and rotated all of them equally also. The Coopers are just better tires and are lasting much longer thatn the others. Very quiet and smooth ride, excellent in rain and light snow also. I plan on buying three sets of these tires for my three oher cars. Highly recommend these tires! Don't pay for the advertising of the big brands, just buy these!

EXCELLENT... I had a set of Bridgestone Duellers on my SUV and they were horrible. Severe hydroplaining to a point of being dangerous. The CS-4's are so far superior. If I had one complaint, it would be a little noisey on concrete roads. Blacktop is very quiet. Handling in rain has been super. I would highly recommend these tires. Will buy another set for wifes 09 G-6.

Put these tires on my wifes car after the OEM ContiTour Contacts wore out at about 28,500 miles. Bought these at a dealer in Athens, GA and cannot say anything good about them but the tires have performed very well.

The first 10,000 miles my wife had me convinced the tires were junk because they rode like crap. I had the tires rotated and rebalanced 3 separate times and each time they said the tires were fine. Finally, I took the car someplace else and they really did balance them and it made all the difference in the world - after that, the tires have been some of the best tires I have ever owned. Quiet ride, good wear and good handling all in a good looking package. My only complaint is that there is an occassional jar on big bumps or potholes but other than that they ride smooth and handle good. 4-3/4 stars!

If you own or have owned a Grand Marquis, you know that it is a great road car. But you also know that it isn't known for wonderful traction. I have owned three of the big Mercs, and the Cooper CS4 is by far the best tire I've had on any of them. I've had Dunlop, Hankook, General, Michelin, BF Goodrich, and Bridgestone tires. The Coopers' traction and ride exceed any of the others. Yesterday I drove through a lot of heavy rain, and hit at least 6" of standing water several times at 40+ mph. No problem for the Coopers. I had to try pretty hard to get them to spin at all, which was no trouble for any of the other tires I've had. Never a hint of fishtailing. I've never had this much confidence in the traction of my big Mercs. Bottom line: Ride - 5 stars, Handling/Traction - 5+ stars, Noise - well, 4 stars. They aren't "noisy" (I've had noisy tires and these aren't), but they aren't quiet either. I wouldn't say they whine, but the noise they do make seems to be at a higher pitch, NOT VOLUME, than most tires. I'm okay with that. They make up for it in every other way. I am still holding my breath to see what they do in snow, and especially, ice. I get tired of having to switch over to Bridgestone Blizzaks during ice season (it should be considered a season in Oklahoma....).

I put these tires on my wife's AWD Equinox. So far so good. Right after we put them on we headed on our trip to Colorado into the mountains. These tires were great, hardly any road noise compared to her OEM tires (Bridgestone HT's, what [garbage]). We went through some real heavy rain in Iowa and these things were glued to the road. After about 4,000 miles on them they still look like they were just put on. I really can't wait until this winter to test them in the snow.

I have a 1998 Ford escort ZX2. I live in a very strong snow-belt region, which gets an average of 3 in to 4 ft of snow on a regular basis 4-5 months of the year. I drive a lot of hills and use the thruway 5 days a week, averaging 60 miles/day. I was looking for a tire that was all-season to save cost rather than invest in studded winter tires (which I would not normally recommend for wear-n-tear purposes as my area uses salt and sand to coat the roads in the winter. If you like your standard alloy/aluminum rims to last it's best to avoid winters with them by switching with basic steel ones.) In my case, this car isn't an investment vehicle but I needed to not get stuck every week since the ditches in my area can swallow trucks whole. So I got these tires and they perform extremely well in rain and snow conditions. You feel very grounded in snow surprisingly, turned are stable, just don't be an idiot and turn at 30 mph, we all know how that ends. On ice they are decent, not to bad for stopping distance. Came close to a few SUVs that were spinning out on the thruway in front of me and was able to maneuver to safety without going off the road where they had failed. I'd recommend these to anyone in a snow region. In summer they are very quiet on dry pavement at 70mph and haven't hit a deer yet, which I stop for once a week generally. They look fine too, haven't worn excessively so far, still at 8/10 after 15,000mi. I will probably buy these again once I trade in for a new vehicle in the future and need my first replacement set. Good Luck and safe travels!

I have a tire sales background. On this Mazda, I originally had Bridgestones (OEM). I purchased the Michelin Energy MXV4+ (H) rated and had a good run of about three years. While nothing works quite like snow tires, I thought those Michelins were fantastic.

When it was time to replace them, I went private label by Cooper (cheap) Dean Equus. This tire was absolutely horrible. They lasted a year-and-a-half and had no confidence in them...ever. I purchased the CS4 set in the last month and have had many snow storms already this winter. Very impressive so far. Great control in a parking lot. I have a hard time making them slip. It reminds me so much of the Michelins I had that were very successful. The $50 rebate on four is a deal maker and Michelins high prices are another great reason. This Cooper tire has a great tread pattern and solid segmented molding construction. It means it's not baked in two pieces and just shows the quality.

This tire is a home run so far...we will see how it wears but having control with all the snow I have seen so far is a great sign. Recommended to my father for a a Ford Taurus P2156016. His Goodyear Assurance Comfort Treads need replacement at 35,000 miles which are supposed to last 80,000 miles. I don't believe in any mileage warranty anymore. We'll see about the wear on the CS4. In the northeast, I would take 3 years (45,000 miles) as a winner. You don't drive tires to the wearbar or 2/32" here.

I have had these tires through a little of everything except on ice. They are much better than two other tires that were on the car prior, which were the Goodyear Integrity, (poor traction on wet roads), and the Goodyear Assurance ComfortTred (Spun out on wet and dry roads even when new and felt mushy initially). Although I have only had them a short time, the Coopers have superior dry traction to the Goodyear tires, allowing you to take corners faster than the others due to a solid feel (read not squirmy/mushy) and no squeal in turns. Snow traction, for an all season tire, when fairly new anyway, is impressive. Drove through about an inch & 1/2 of snow one evening with no slipping issues whatsoever. Tires are fairly quiet, save for grooved pavement but its not really an issue. Ride quality is a little on the firm side compared to the GY Comfortreds, but is not punishing and is a decent trade off to the handling and safety they provide. The only reason I give these 4 instead of 5 is two-fold: First is the wet traction. Hydroplaining resistance and wet cornering are very good, but like both of the GY tires, the Coopers also spin on wet pavement when accelerating from a stop, such as a stoplight. This is more pronounced when stopped on an incline, but also does so on level ground. The good news is that they seem to catch/stop spinning shortly after doing so, unlike the GY'rs which KEEP spinning long after they start, and the Cooper's do not have this issue in the snow or on dry pavement, unlike both GY tires. It is for these issues that I would NOT recommend either of the GY'rs. The second factor that led me to give the Cooper tires 4 stars is the treadlife issue. Being that I have only had these for about 500 miles I can't accurately comment on how long the tires will last. I realize this also depends on other factors such as driving style, maintenance, and type of vehicle, (some vehicles seem to eat tires faster) . So I hope the treadlife is not as other reviews have stated. Overall, the Cooper's are a better tire than the GY'rs and are less expensive. And considering there are not many other viable options for a Grand Touring tire other than an untested Kumho Ecsta platinum or the more expensive Michelins, they seem to be the best choice so far.

The last tires I had were Dunlop performance tires that were great on dry pavement but rough riding and poor on wet surfaces. The Cooper CS4 is the exact opposite. They're very smooth riding, quiet and good in the rain. Certainly not a performance tire but very good all around. Treadwear is good so far. I'll buy a set for my other car.

Good replacment for Michelin OEM tires; quiet and rides well and good in rain; however, will not last past 40k (3-4/32). Kauffman did give $182 prorate credit toward new set so that makes up for shortcomings in wear.

I'm probably not the easiest on these tires. I bought them strictly off of their incredibly high rating (780AA) and I have been very pleased with them. No way will I get 80,000 miles out of them, but they have been a great set of tires, and I will replace them with the same!

Only 6,000 miles so far but these are much better handling and riding tire than the OEM Goodyears. Tread wear is none existant to this point and fuel milage has not changed.

The tires take about 2 miles to smooth out in the morning and they make a lot of noise going down the highway. I have noticed a drop in gas millage of 2-3 miles per gallon. Had tires rebalanced at 350 miles and that helped little but still have the rough riding when I first start out. Was told these tires would ride better and smoother than the tires I took off. 215/60/16 92v but I'm finding they are about the same. The service was great and the people were very nice at the store.

24,000 miles including two florida trips. Aggressive tread pattern, Nice ride. Average in light snow and rain. Rotated three times thus far. 10/32nds left from 12/32nds when new. Only complaint is they whine pretty bad. 2.5 mpg less on florida trips. Most likely because of 5 ply tread! Will no doubt last 70,000 miles plus! (Retired Trooper)

Tires look great and you couldn't ask for a better tire in rain or up to 4 inches of snow, but the humming on dry pavement is driving me crazy. (had alienment checked)

5star  31k miles on a 80k tire not so good

I purchased these because the OEM tires that came on our van only lasted 29K miles. Overall, the tire rides well, handles decent, and sheds water decent, and there is not very much road noise. My wife was the primary driver and her trips are too and from school, grocery store, bank, etc. She babies the van and is not hard on tires. I have kept the air pressure correct and rotated the tires every 5K. Wear is even on all four tires and they need to be replaced after 31k miles. This is not even close to the 80k miles advertised and for that reason alone it is getting two and a half tires. Also, Kaufman's price is high on this tire compared to other local dealers. Treadepot has this tire for $98 each right now and after shipping that ends up being $113 per tire. After paying someone to mount and balance they will still be over $500 for a new set and that is a high price to have to replace them every two years. If I had gotten 60K out of them, I would probably consider buying them again.

This is a good tire but they simply don't hold up. Billed as an 80,000 mile tire, mine lasted 22,000 and it took six CS4's to go this far. Two made it to the 22,000 mark and the other two were replaced at 8,000 miles. The replacements for these made it 14,000 miles. Fortunately, my dealer made a substantial adjustment but unless you enjoy hanging around tire shops looking at old magazines, buy another tire.

I have owned a set of Cooper CS4 tires for two winter seasons with about 10,000 miles on them at the time of this writing. I had installed them on my 2008 Saturn Outlook AWD. The tires are great and smooth on dry pavement, but are horrible in the snow. Cooper has no business calling this all season tires and giving them an M&S rating. They are worse than the original equipment Goodyear GT4 tires they replaced. I actually have to avoid snow with these tires. I am going to wear them out quickly during the dry weather so that I can replace them with a better tire. DON'T GET THESE TIRES IF YOU WANT TRACTION IN SNOW!

I had these on the car for about 50k miles. From day one these have riden like crap. They have horrible road noise and thumped like crazy. I could not wait for these to wear out so I could purchase a different set of tires. Finally the day has come. They ride even worse now that they are worn down almost to the wear bars.

I purchased 4 of these tires for my Ford Focus ST in January of 2009. I rotated the tires like clockwork every five thousand miles. It's now March of 2010 and I have put 32 thousand miles on the car. [The Store] showed me the micrometer and they are now 4/32 of tread left. These are supposed to be an 80 thousand mile rated tire.

I called Cooper and they told me there is a problem with the Ford Focus, resulting in poor tire life. They might as well have blamed my stereo for their inferior product.

Please don't make the same mistake that I made. Purchase another brand of tire. Cooper doesn't stand behind their products.

I don't like these tires, they don't ride smooth. My original ones were GY Eagles LS. I liked them, but decided to try another brand. Mistake - can't wait til they wear out!
