The Discoverer STT features deep shoulder lugs and a unique center traction zone that creates a bold, aggressive tire. Uniform radial construction gives excellent ride control on the street or in mud, sand, or snow. The Rim Flange Protector is added in the lower sidewall area to protect both wheels and tires from off road driving hazards.

  • Armor-Tek Carcass: Construction constructed of two radial polyester body plies and one angled polyester body ply to deliver 3 plies of protection for superior resistance to impact breaks and bruising.
  • Super Traction Tread: The computer designed, non-directional tread employs a combination of features including deep buttress lugs, notched and scalloped shoulder lugs, and a unique center traction zone to create a bold, aggressive tire for tough off-road applications.
  • Rim Flange Protector: Strategically placed in the lower side wall area, this feature helps protect the wheel and tire from hazards in off-road driving conditions while enhancing appearance.

These tires are great, I only have 5,000 miles on them so I won't say they wear great yet. But overall they aren't to loud on the road, they do great off road not clumping up with dirt like my old ones did. And I plan on getting another set of them.

Great tires, aggressive, look awesome, putting them through the paces this weekend off road. ...tread depot part was awesome, couldn't be happier with them....bad part..... local Goodyear tire I had tires delivered to tried to rip me off....wanted to charge me almost 200 to install tires on my truck after tread depot quoted me 82.99..... so I would have them delivered to someplace you know.

I have these tires on a 2013 two door wrangler with a 4" lift and they compliment it perfectly. They have an aggressive look to them and deep tread depth. They are also really quiet on the road... I haven't heard them once. For the price and what your getting with these tires, its the best purchase you could make in the 37" tire range. I will be buying them again no questions asked when the time comes.

I just installed a set of 4 Cooper STT 35x12.50x18s on my lifted GMC. These were used to replace a set of Toyos that had done great, but needed replacing. I am a mostly around town and highway driver, but needed a tire that also would handle hunting season and a few mud play days a year. I went with the Coopers based on reviews, a similar look to the Toyos and PRICE. Tread Depot was AWESOME, the lowest price, and shipped them super fast! I only have a little mileage but so far am VERY pleased. They look great, handle the road awesome with minimal noise and braking improved on the pavement. I haven't had them off road yet but am looking forward to it. If there is ANY down side so far it is only that the overall size isn't a true 35, its is more of a 34, but I knew that based on research and what's an inch right? Haha! As of now, and very happy with my purchase, thanks Tread Depot!

I wanted these tires because a friend has had them for a while on an F350, they looked good and performed very well for him on such a heavy truck and I was impressed. I finally got my federal tax return and bit the bullet on some 37s. My truck is a 99 Silverado 1500, regular cab, long bed and has 1-tons swapped under it with a solid axle up front, lockers front and rear, and a very healthy/cammed 6.0 LS motor. Long story short, these tires are amazing! Even with 3/4 inch of tread, they're very quiet on the road. They balanced out very well, the most weight on one tire was 5 ounces. Nothing for a 37" tire that weighs about 90 lbs! They also look amazing and perform very, very well. I've only had one instance of "pucker factor" when I had to stop VERY quickly in the rain, but I'm chalking that one up as my fault. The rear end didn't want to cooperate with the ABS and it got a little squirrelly on me. I don't blame that on the tires at all and they have great all around traction on the black top. I expect to get many, many miles out of these tires and once I swap gears, I'll be testing them out to the fullest capabilities of my truck! They have a great load capacity on them too, which will be nice if I decided to get them for my old 1-ton K30. If you want a good looking, good riding, quiet, aggressive, and very reasonably priced M/T tire, don't hesitate to get the Cooper STT! Shipping was very quick and they were right on time as well. The sales associate was awesome too; wish I could remember his name...he deserves some kudos, a beer, and a raise! Also, if any of y'all are running Hummer H2 rims, these tires look amazing on them!

I bought a set of Cooper STT in lieu of going back to Nitto Trail Grapplers, which are more expensive. The results, thus far, have been exceptional. Sidewall protection on the STT is VERY GOOD even compared to Nitt TG's. I can see that the Cooper is a softer tire, so I anticipate a shorter tread life, but considering the immense price difference from Nittos, that's really a wash. All in all, I think Cooper STT's are an exceptional choice for the weekend off-roader who doesn't mind the road "hum" of genuine mud tire. Nitto folks "might" find them a little noisier, but IT'S A FREAKIN MUD TIRE MAN! Great tire...now go get a set!

The last time I got a set of Cooper tires the sidewall blew out while I was driving down a highway, needless to say, I thought that I would never buy another Cooper tire. I contacted Cooper Tire and they were a bunch of.... Well, 10 years later I bought cooper tires again because they were about 1/3rd the price of BFGs and there was no way I was going to drop almost 3k on a set of tires and the last set of Kanati tires that I bought only lasted 12k miles. The Cooper STT's don't even come close to a set of Super Swampers in the mud but they are a whole lot better than some all terrain tires. They will break traction on pavement pretty easily and I have actually been able to break them loose at about 35mph. In snow and mud they work pretty good but they don't grip rocks too well. This would be a great tire to have in Canada or in northern states that have mostly mud and snow but if you're going to go rock crawling with them you might want to look somewhere else. The on road traction is good enough and they seem to be wearing really well for mud tires. If I had to guess from the 7,000 miles I have on them already I would have to say they would get over 50,000 miles of use out of them easily. The triple ply sidewalls appeared to be pretty thin, the tires weighed 93 lbs

I havent had many miles driven on the tires yet, but so far amazing. I have to say first off, dealing with TREADDEPOT, a great experience. They shipped them out super quick, and the price match was perfect. As far as the tire goes, its the first MT I've ever owned. I love them! The look, the sidewalls, the strength. You can feel the boldness of the tire. Not much highway noise, and I've had louder all terrains. We were lucky enough to get a nice snow storm here 3 days after the install. This tire really kicks it in the snow. Great traction, plows right through. Ill be sure to review again once I drive much more!

I've had my Discoverer STT's for about 30k miles and don't have a single complaint. They have been off road in the rocks, mud and sand and have never left me disappointed. The highway ride was nice, even with the top off they were not too loud. I'm about due for a new set of tires ( my own fault for not rotating more often ) and I'm buying another set of STT's. The bonus is they are usually cheaper than other tires in the same size.

Relatively quiet for a mud tire. Great in mud and not too bad on wet roads. I rotated and balanced every 4000 to 4500 miles and was able to run them for right at 36000 miles.

I know I havn't had these tire very long but they were exactly what I was looking for. They are almost the exact same tire as the Toyo Open Country MT. They dont make alot of road noise either which is a plus. Nice deep lugs, appealing sidewall, but they do like to pick up rocks quite a bit. Great looking tire. Would definitely buy these tires again.

This is my second set of Cooper Discoverer STT. I have been buying oversized tires for thirty years and had many brands. Nothing comes close to these tires in all categories. My first set of Cooper tires had a lot of miles on them and were used hard, from pulling heavy loads, (16000+ pounds) to rough off road conditions. Not one time did I ever get a flat tire either. If you want a great tire that will run circles around the other brands and last twice as long as most tires and three times longer than the Nitto tires. Purchase these, you won't be sorry.

Great tire, so far. Fit on the stock Rubi rim (17x7.5) fairly ok. The rim is a bit too small, so the very outside edge of the tire barely touches the ground. It's a D rated tire so the sidewall is really stiff - still waiting for it to break in so I can hopefully raise the tire pressure a little. 9" rims would be ideal. Currently running with 23PSI. Had a few rains and the tire grips the road like its life depends on it. Have no complaints.

I have had several Cooper tires in the past, from highway tires to the STT- which have 48,000 miles (on them). I rotate my tires every 3000 miles and can't believe the miles I have gotten out of these tires. I just purchased a new set to put on my new FX 4 F-150. Tires still have tread but figured new truck gotta get new tires. Can't wait to get them on. They also look great. Good luck, would HIGHLY recommend these tires excellent value for this price of a tire.

The Cooper Discoverer STT is a great tire so far. I have only had them on my Jeep for about 3,000 miles but I have no complaints. The tires have a aggressive tread but are extremely quiet on the road. I have used them in the dirt and mud and have yet to get stuck in a mud pit. I would absolutely recommend buying these tires. I cant speak for tread wear since they are still new but I have read nothing but good things. As for tread depot, they were excellent to order from, large selection and info and super fast shipping. Thanks

The Cooper Discoverer STT is the perfect tire for my lifestyle. As a thoroughbred horse breeder and active sportsman, I need aggressiveness for muddy conditions. Yet, I also need something that rolls smoothly and travels well on the highway while towing. The Discoverer STT has a great, deep tread, yet the (lugs) are in close enough proximity not to cause very much highway noise. Thank you, Cooper, for making a tire fitting to my lifestyle. Sincerely, Joe Walker

These tires are GREAT! Haven't had them that long but they've been through deep mud, deep soft sand, dry river beds, wet river beds, slick rock, city and highway driving, and they're equally at home on any of the terrain I've had them on. They are stiffer than the stock tires because the size I bought are E rated 10 ply's, but not too bad. If I got to do it over again, with the weight of my 4 door Wrangler, I would have gone with the 33x12.5x17's instead of the 285/70/17's because they are D rated and would look even more bad !@# because they are wider. No regrets though, the 33's will be my next set.

Purchased '97 Dodge SLT with Cooper Ats. These tires didn't perform adequately. Upgraded to Cooper STT 285/75 R16. Mild lift and bored over 360 put these tires through hell and back! Performed at speeds over 90+. On road and off-road confidence throughout! I will be ordering another set soon as they are fun to roast. Still tread worthy and I'd never buy another brand other than Cooper STT. These tires were rigorously rolled through Australian Outback as prototypes and gained my loyalty for many years and other trucks to come! Tackled Extreme snow, mud and rocks flawlessly, never had a flat. Because, of my width of tire and horsepower,I get great traction on wet roads, but caution and speed should always be exercised.

I just recently purchased these tires for my Jeep TJ. Can't really comment on their durability, but definitely a great tire so far. Great combo tire meaning it has both good highway and off road manners. Reasonably quiet. Just remember if you are looking for tires that are good on ice or wet pavement, MT tires are not a good choice. Not their intended use. I would buy these tires over and over again for my style of driving or off road use.

Did the research for price & performance for a new set of tires. Settled on the more aggressive STT-LT's over the BFG AT's. Bought 2 with 1 paycheck, bought the other 2 next paycheck. I could hardly contain my enthusiasm after seeing them "In the flesh" right off the UPS truck. The tread has to be 1" deep, and the pattern is aggressive & very good-looking. All the guys at work were impressed. I had them mounted, and on the drive home, I immediatly knew I would be buying these again 60k in the future. Perfect balancing from the tire shop, no road hum (even on the highway doing 75-80 mph in my jeep wrangler), and I get compliments every day, due to the look, it's the deep tread, and side-wall tread that make it an attractive tire. Also, in the rain, excellent traction, where my other 33's spun out even when new, and I feel super-safe in wet conditions. BUY THEM.

I did alot of internet research on agressive mud/snow tires for my Toyota 4wd SR5 before I chose these. The tire tread design and good reviews made me decide on the Cooper Discoverer STT. I've had these tires on my truck about four years, and although I don't do alot of driving with it, the tires have performed exceptionally well. They have about 5,000 miles on them and still look new. I live up north and have a 1/2 mile private road leading up a hill to my house. These tires just bite right down in the snow, clean themselves out, and get me through when other vehicles are spinning their tires. I also have a large wooded lot with a ravine where I harvest hardwood trees for firewood. These tires get me out without a problem, cleaning the mud out well. The tires are also fairly quiet on the pavement. I can't say anything bad about them and would certainly buy them again. If you want an agressive tread that holds up well and looks great you can't go wrong with these. I've had more compliments from people than I can count on how good they look.

Originally had these tires on my leveled 4x2 2007 tacoma from about 50000 miles to over 75000 miles. They got me through alot of mud that most people said I couldn't with a 4x2. When I wrecked that truck, I bought a new 4x4 tacoma and moved the wheels and tires over...I got another 25000 miles out of them on my 2011. I just bought a 2012 tacoma and the only reason I didnt move those same tires over to what would be the third truck I'd have them on was because the new one had a different rim size. Love these tires, and as soon as my lift is done on the new tacoma I'm planning on getting another set of these. Hopefully this time I'll get over 60000 miles on one truck.

I buy US brands whenever I can. In the case of Cooper tires, not only are they made here, they are made well here. Cooper has done its homework with these bad boys. I 4-wheel a lot here in the Northeast in gooey, bottomless mud, slummy round boulders, stream beds, rocky river bottoms, swamps and marches, tight steep slippery trails over blown down trees. NO matter, these Coopers can handle it all, and do it better than any other tire I've owned. I constantly have people comment on the aggressive look of the SST mounted on 10" simulated bead lock rims. They are quiet on the road and aggressive on the trail. Because my Bronco II does so well on these tires, my buddy with a YJ had to get a set because he was claiming an unfair advantage over his BFGs. I still have an unfair advantage but at least he's on a good set of tires. In fact, he is on his second set after the garage that mounted the first set over inflated them to 40psi, ruining the centers on all 4 tires. We both run all four between 25-28psi now. I had mine filled with nitrogen, not sure what good that will do, but I like the green valve caps. In this category there are a lot of capable tires out there, but none will better the Cooper STT in as far as great looks and stellar off road performance. I swap mine out for road tires when not wheeling. I plan to have these around for at least 3 years. Treaddepot.com is without a doubt the best tire distributor I've found. The price was great and the shipping was super fast. Buy the Cooper STT, you won't regret it!

I bought these tires about 5 years ago, when they were pretty new on the market. At the time there were almost no reviews. I've run them for about 40k miles now, in snow, ice, mud, rocks, dirt, and lots of highway with ZERO regrets. When I first put them on, they were quieter than the Goodyear AT/S's that I got rid of! They got a little louder, but I find that varying air pressure a few psi every so often keeps them pretty quiet. I routinely run 15psi in these tires at two lane speeds between trails, (like all the way across Colorado and to Moab "between trails" and haven't had any problems. I've flat out abused the sidewalls and have yet to damage them. I lived in MI for the first three years I had them, so they saw plenty of snow, mud, and sand, and they handled it all really well. In fact, I did better in some canada clay-mud than my friends on SSR's and ProComp MT's!! I always air down on the trail though, which seems to work extremely well for this tire! at about 40k, I've got about 1/4 - 3/8" tread left. Not bad at all!!! If cooper made a 255/85 in this tire, I'd buy them again, but I want to go skinny next time around, so I'll have to try some ST's I guess. :(

I went from 33x12.50x15 BFG All Terrains before I moved to the STT's and I've gotta say that i absolutely love the STT's. I got them with about 60% tread life left on them. I drive from Flagstaff to San Diego and back about 2 times a month and they do great on the street. I was not able to break traction in rain on the street. My Wrangler is used for rock crawling and I have never used a tire that has done this good on the rocks. I was beyond belief on the traction of these tires. Mud, Rock, Snow, Rain, etc, you will NOT be dissapointed with these tires. Once it's time for new tires again, I'll be buying another set of these. I recommend these to anybody. Everybody will like these!

I have a set on the rear of a 2 wheel drive service truck. Occasionally the truck sees some off road time whether it be on medians of highway, shoulders, fields, or woods the tires performed exceptionally well. The self cleaning tread really puts traction down through mud, and snow. I have put a lot of miles on these tires putting them through the test and have no complaints. I have seen many tires give up with the 9,500 lbs load I carry on the truck plus the occasional trailer tow. Would recommend to anyone.

A friend of mine told me about Treadepot.com. I could kiss his butt. I went to a local tire shop and for the same set of 5 tires, they were over 1500 dollars. That's more than a 100 dollars a tire. Big difference!!! So, I told a friend and he bought from Treadepot.com for his Hummer. Then I told more friends and they told me they can't find tires cheaper anywhere. As for the tires, I've only been on them for about 200 miles. Cooper Discoverer STT is a mud tire that thinks it's all-terrain. The little chickies like it because it's nice and quiet. I like it because it looks big and nasty. All in all, this is a good looking, well balanced, quiet, and smooth riding tire. I use to only buy Goodyear and Michelin because of the name, but I'm finding out that Coopers are pretty good tires. Finally, the best thing is that I got this tires 500 dollars cheaper at Treadepot. Hooah!!!

These tires are very quiet for a mud terrain. I've had them on the road for a few weeks now, and they have great road manners. Also had them wheeling this past weekend, they did GREAT on wet rocks, dirt, deep mud and in a creek. I had them at 30 psi, didn't even need to air down. Plus, the customer service at Treadepot was INCREDIBLE! Had these tires at my door in 2 days.

I have owned several types of mud terrian tires over the years and by far these have given me the best overall performance, mileage, traction, and wear. Living in this part of the country, they have performed exceptionally well in deep mud, snow, icy roads, stream crossings, and 4 wheeling in the Rocky Mountains. The noise level is surprisingly low for this type of tire. I expect to get at least another 15,000 miles out of them. I spend 75% of my time on the roads and highways. Since I have owned them, they have only been balanced once when I bought them. I would highly recommend these tires to those whom are looking for an aggressie tire with good looks.

I got a set of Cooper SST's for my Jeep after a set of Dunlops had worn out. The first thing that I noticed was how much smoother the ride was. I also thought that there was going to be a lot of noise, but, for the tire type, it is great. So far the wear is great. It has little to no wear. It has great traction in dry, wet, snow, and off road. Very happy with the tire. I will never put another tire on my Jeep.

I am amazed at how quiet these tires are. I bought them without ever seeing them except for pics on the internet. Exremely aggressive like I wanted and more so. The side biters are aggressive like the Mickey Thompson Baja claws I had before and the tread depth is much deeper than any mud tire I've seen, which tells me this should have some tread life. It's been raining alot since i bought them and they handle better than previous tires with aggressive tread. People see them and tell me wow, Those must make alot of noise, They dont believe me when I say they are smooth and quiet. I have a rubicon with front and rear lockers and take the most extreme terrain, Always. Next payday im going to buy the spare tire just for the looks on my jeep and the price is unbeatable. For me to take the time to type this, cooper, good job.

I bought a set of these tires for my s-10 4x4 11 yrs ago. I put approx. 80,000 miles on them and they are still not quite bald but getting close. In 11 yrs, only got stuck 3 times,(in places I should not have ventured). I will buy a set of these for my new truck just as soon as I decide how much lift is going under it. The way I see it , you CANNOT buy a better tire. Not too noisy, been in mud and snow pushing it with the bumper and just kept going. Put these on any 4x4 and add a little weight to hold 'em down and you can't stop the cooper stt.

When I first found out about these tires about three and a half years ago I just had to have them. I have a slightly lifted dodge 4x4 and mainly wanted the tires for the looks. I later found out through many miles on pavement, a good bit of mud, and living on muddy dirt roads that I got more bang for my buck after purchasing these tires. For the three and a half years that I've had these tires ive never had a flat and after the conversion from a super swamper I would definitely buy this tire again. in my opinion they look the same as a toyo MT and almost half the price. By the way in the 48000 miles I have on them i have about 10000 more left on them and they were only balanced when they were put on and only rotated 4 times. GREAT TIRE!!!

I had these tires in a different size on my previous jeep. I loved them then and I love them now. They are an aggressive tread tire that has good road manners as well as good tread wear. They are not as quiet as regular street tires, but considering the tread pattern they are not too loud. Would definitely purchase again and highly recommend.

Now, I haven't had many miles on this tire, but I have used them in a wide variety of terrains and have seen these tires perform outstanding in everything I can through at them. My Jeep has gone through loose sand, mud halfway up the doors of my lifted wrangler, dry and wet pavement. They do bite on standing water and will tend to pull your steering wheel. I am surprised in the amount of lateral stability given the amount of sidewall on my 35 x 12.5 x 15. They balanced well with the exception of one which had an abundance of weights on it. I took it to a tire shop to have it remounted and balanced, much better now and Tread Depot covered the bill, Thanks guys! Overall, I think these tires are great for a vehicle that will need to go from the pavement to the trail more than a couple times a month. I know a few people with the BFG AT and I'm always pulling them out when it gets wet. I daily drive mine and i swear they are quieter than my engine. If I listen for them, I'll pick them out, but definitely not annoying. They are one of the lighter tires of this size: Bonus! Get them, you won't be disappointed.

So far I like my STT's. I haven't obviously put that many miles on them but from what I have driven on them they seem to be a pretty good tire. They don't have a lot of road noise which is a plus. Tires seem to do alright in the rain... winter is just around the corner so we will see how they do in the snow. I try not to get offroad too much but at the track it goes offroad. Hasn't been super wet yet so I dont know how they hook up in the mud (I would rather not find out)

I purchased these tires about a year ago when I installed the BL on my Ford Ranger. Being somewhat of a motor head I made sure to rotate the tires every oil change so that I got proper wear and tear. This is partly because of the aggressive tread on the tire and this being the first time I purchased a Cooper tire. The service rep asked me about a month ago when I purchased the tires, and when I told him he was astonished with the tread life left on all (4) four tires. Working in construction I do a fair amount of driving on and off-road to different jobsites. That said, the tires are not obnoxious on the highway, but still have an aggressive sound when driving down a neighborhood road - heads turn. They also clean out when you decide to go off-road and see what the new tires can do. If you're not from Georgia, the mud out here is called red clay for a reason, therefore, it's key for the tire you purchase to clean out so you don't get stuck every time you decide to go off-road. Unfortunately, I did not get the luxury of driving the tires past 10K due to my truck being totaled, but I recently purchased the same tires for my 2008 Chevy Silverado (285/70R17) and the tires still look and sound great (Only 1K miles). I'd highly recommend this tire to anyone, and will continue to monitor as I always do. I've had an Aggressive Mud Terrain to your typical BFG AT. This tire is a more than happy medium and among my better review you will not find much or any bad reviews on this tire.

I only have about 500 miles on them so far, but I have had them in the sand dunes for two days, and been playing with them in light mud. I am surprised of how quiet they are on the road.

I had G Y Wranglers that i did get good use out of but, I wanted something alittle more aggressive this time and heard all good things about the STT's. The first thing i noticed with the stt was the firmer feel on the road. They dont have that "wishy washy" feel that the Wranglers had. Then the light road noise which I did expect to hear so that was fine. As for the looks, They look awesome, have several compliments already. We just got 4 inches of fresh snow so my first use has been on road in snow. So far i haven't had to use the 4wd, the tires grab great as long as i ease into the throttle and breaking has been great, they dont slide nearly as much as the GY's. I Also wanted to give props to Treadspot.com for great Customer service and price. I had my tires in 3 days. I saved just over $80.00 total from what it would have cost me to buy them locally. I will review again after i put a few thousand miles on them.

Stock 32" BFG KM tires were gone (and so was my vehicle warranty) so I decided it was time for a lift, wheels and tires. After researching the big names, I found these about $80 cheaper on TD than any other tire/web site. Since I was buying 5, the $400 in savings and good reviews was all I needed to make my decision. We had some unusually white weather in this area so my shipping was delayed in arrival by a couple days. They showed up 2 days before a very unusual two foot snowfall and the driver was very courteous (called before arrival, helped load in my garage). I managed to get them mounted and installed the next day - in time for the snow! Nitto is very popular here due to a local 4x4 shop and I am the only one I have seen running the STTs. They look good and stand out from all the guys running the 'Grapplers'. There does seem to be quite a bit of balancing weights on the wheels so it seems the tires may not be A+ balanced from the factory, but I have not experienced any vibration issues, etc thus far. In rain these are far better then my stock KMs were ... Those would spin on most every wet start. I have yet to be able to break traction on a wet start with the STTs. In the 2 feet of snow I was able to get around with no problem. We have had a couple decent snows that I drove the BFGs in (but not 2 ft!), and I do think these Coopers plowed through better than the KMs. When they were installed, the shop inflated to 40psi. I am down around 34/5 right now and just barely getting full tread coverage so I may need to go down closer to 30 for more even wear. Unfortunately I haven't been able to hit the trails yet to test the true offroad perfomance, but in a couple of fun runs through a local 'field' they seemed to dig/grab well in some slimy surface mud. All in all I am very satisified thus far, and having saved enough to pay about 75% of the cost of my new rims I believe the STTs are a good balance of performance, looks and cost.

I do a lot of city driving and a lot of off roading and I gotta say these tires are great. A buddy of mine had the discoverer ST and I wanted something more aggressive and these are perfect. They work great in sand and mud (they clean themselves out amazingly well). On hill climbs my truck trudges right up and I'm running an open diff. They are very quiet on road for a mud tire the only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they wear quickly, but that is to be expected of an aggressive tire.

I installed these tires with less than 2000 miles on my Wrangler. The first thing I noticed was the impressive lack of tire hum for a mud terrain. Even with the top down the volume was acceptable. The tires performed very good in wet conditions. They were great off-road in mud, gravel, and light rocks. The only area that I thought they lacked was wintertime driving. Deep snow was good, but slightly snow covered roads were more of a challenge than I liked. All in all, great tire.

Tire is pretty good. It's a pretty quiet tire for an agressive pattern. The only real complaint is they do flat spot a little after sitting for a day or two. Doesn't take but 2 minutes to go away. The jeep has started to wander a little bit. I don't know if it's the jeep or the tire because I just put a lift on it. It was aligned.

Put these on a lifter Wrangler after reading many good reviews. I concur with those reviews. As with any aggressive tread there is some noise. But off road they were great and I did some very aggressive off road trips with my Jeep club. Rocks, air them down to 10PSI and no prob. Mud no prob. Snow pretty darn good. This wide of a tire takes some special attention for snow driving on highway whereas they would pull towards the deep roadside if one was to wander. I got 45k out of them but they were stretched to probably not so safe on the tread depth. Replaced them with the Discoverer ATR since I had such good results with this Cooper. I do not off road anymore so the ATR should be great.

I've used these tires for some very hard off roading and am impressed with their ability to claw their way up & over rocks, logs, and ruts. I don't have much experience in deep mud or snow, so I don't know how well they perform under those conditions. In spite of their great off road performance they are smooth and fairly quiet on the highway, at least for a tire with such an aggressive tread. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I haven't tested them in all conditions. I definately recommend them, and will buy a set again.

I bought these tries after doing a lot of research on off road tires. As for bang for the buck - they seemed like the right idea. My Jeep is my daily driver and about twice a month we go climb rocks with it.

From the get-go we have had problems getting them balanced. We tried everything and finally had to have two of five replaced because they were out of round. The amount of weights required to balance them is enormous and a little unsetteling. One of them still shakes like a dog trying to pass a peach pit and I don't have a solution.

They are relatively quiet on the highway, any newish tire will be. After they wear awhile is when their true colors start to show.

On the highway they tend to wander more than the Depek Mud Countrys I replaced with and on the trail they are pretty good. They grip on rocks fairly well and mud cleans out ok. On the rocks they tend to crab walk a bit even when aired down to 10psi.

I would not buy these tires again. The Cepeks were a better tire.

I will give praise to the folks at Tread Depot though, their customer service has been top notch. Now, if I could just get them to carry Dick Cepek tires.
