I had Michelan before. This tire rides and handles better than the 80,000 mile Michelan tires. I would reccomend them to anyone. These are the best tires I have ever had. I am 64 years old, and I have had every tire out there. I will buy these tires every time I need tires. My truck has over 90,000 miles on it and rides better than a new one. Charles

I bought a 2 sets of these tires for 2 cars 3yrs ago and they are worn to the wear bars after 45k mi. The tires were rotated and balanced regularly and the drivers of these cars are not agressive. The tires drove pretty well and if the mileage claim was near accurate I would be happy with them, but their 85k mi claim isn't even close.

Best Bang for your buck tire out there

This is my second set of Kumho Solus KR21's on this vehicle. Even though they are warranted for 85000 miles. Last set lasted around 65000 and that was even neglecting rotating them as recommended. I have these on 2 other vehicles (another Toyota Highlander and a Chevy Prizm) also at the present time. This is by far the cheapest tire with the best warranty out there. They also come with Road Hazard from manufacturer. Read the warranty so you do not waste your money if your dealer tries to sell you this as an additional item. My first set had a blow out due to hitting something in the road. Kumho stood behind their warranty and replaced it free of charge. I will always buy this tire as long as they keep making it at a reasonable price. Once again, best bang for your buck out there.

Excellent tire! I purchased these as a replacement to my OEM Firestone FE710's. The KR21's are flawless in the snow. They grip very well on hard and soft snow and bite good on ice too. They have proved to be the best all season tire I have ever owned. They may be slightly noisier than my OEM's but nothing that you would consider noisy. If you want an inexpensive tire that performs very well in all driving conditions, you found it. Buy with confidence, this is a great tire.

I have meatier, larger tires on the rear of my truck but chose these for my front, steering tires. Right after I put the tires on, we had three snow storms and an ice storm. 10" of snow, 6" of snow, 3" of snow and 1/4" ice. The tires did great, did not fail steering. I have a 2WD Ranger and had absolutely no problems getting around. Good tire for the price. My concern is those saying they're bad in weather aren't driving as safely as they should. Respect the conditions & these are great tires for the job.

This is the third set of this brand of tire I have owned. I have had them on an Escape, Mercury Mariner and now my Explorer Sport Trac. One of the biggest plus is that they are a very quite tire. The price I paid here was less than (another online retailer). The delivery was quick and correct. I will buy this brand of tire again and will use Tread Depot.

I chose these tires based on the positive reviews and the price. I was looking for tires for an antique truck. It's not going to get driven hard, so the two features I was looking for were smooth ride and quiet ride. I've had them on the truck for a couple weeks and, so far, I couldn't be more pleased.

I just bought a second set of these Kumhos for my wifes Murano. We got 45,000 miles out of the original Goodyear Eagles. Replaced the Eagles with these Kumhos. We how have 91,000 on the Kumhos and are replacing them. Do the math, just about identical tread wear. These tires are quiet, handle well. I bought these for about 35% less than the Eagles. I'm getting to old for brand loyality, especially whrn the performance is identical. Buy em'.

Read a lot of reviews before deciding on these. My truck is a 4x4,(the options did not allow that). I have driven about 8000 miles so far, and these tires are smooth at (high) speeds. Vehicle came with crappy Goodyear Eagles, yuck, terrible tires that rode like a tank. Now when my wife, who would refuse to take my truck anywhere, rode in the Jeep for the 1st time after the tire change, she was amazed. She commented how smooth they drove, and now doesn't hesitate to get in the Jeep. Got no significant snow this year in this area, so I can't comment on that, but I have driven on wet roads, and the tires hold their grip. I read some of the reviews about these tires sliding. Well, anything will slide if the centrifugal force exceeds the centripedal force (basic physics). In other words, stop speeding on slippery roads.

These are a great set of tires! I replaced the bridgestones that were on my car with these and they ride great with little to no road noise. I had had them on the vehicle for about 30,000 - 35,000 miles and just rotated them for the first time from the front to the back and they still have well over 1/2 tread life left. I just bought a second set for my wifes car and am extremely pleased with them. They have excellent traction in the rain.

I've got the Kuhmho's back in January 2010 while in the grips of one of the worst snow seasons of recent record. They were great out the box! Over the past year I've had at least 5 compliments on their good looks! (Who notices tires?) Here it is December 2010 and they show no wear. (Had full alignment and balancing at installation) They rode very quietly over the summer and continue to handled extremely well. The price was exceptional as compared to the OEM Goodyear Eagle LS. I'm very pleased and so far would and have recommmended this tire to anyone who would listen! I'll let you know how they are after year 2! This tire is a great, exceptional bargain. At least once a year I'll get lucky in my purchasing decisions with the right combination of price, quality, good looks all in one transaction. For me, these tires had all of these qualities and were probably my best buy of the year! (Still 8 days left in Dec 2010, so I said probably!)I don't write many reviews other giving Ebay feedback, but I wanted a Murano owners out there to know this is a great replacement tire for the Rano. You won't be disappointed. Happy trails!

I already put 30,000 miles on these tires with my little 2-door Honda Civic. They already have 2 Maine winters under the belt and they performed amazing in snow and on icy roads (sometimes better than cars with snow tires on). They still have plenty of tread left, and with regular rotations will probably hold at least another 30,000 miles. Not bad for a relatively cheap tire...

Highly recommended.

I loved this tire. I say loved because I bought them for my 2008 Altima sedan that I recently traded in. I just purchased the Altima coupe and this tire is not recommended for coupes. Anyway this is the best tire for the money I purchased them in Feb of this year and they are so much better than the crappy Contipro's that are nissan standard. They have little to no noise, wet/dry traction is amazing and you will also see an improvement in gas mileage. I am sad that they are not recommended for my coupe so I am searching for other Kumho's for this one. Kumho is my new brand of choice. And Treadepot is the cheapest and most efficient company to get them from. Hope this helps get them and you will love them also!

I have a '95 Cadillac Fleetwood and I've had these tires for almost a year now and these are the best tires I've ever had. In the rain, they're great and not to shabby in the snow. This fleetwood is extremely heavy and RWD, so rain and snow are naturally its enemy. These tires actually hold there own. I've never had a fish tail in wet weather as I've had with previous tires. So if these tires can stand up to "the behemoth" that is the fleetwood, than this tire is great for any size car...

The tire price is low. I expected to get the kind of performance I paid for (Poor). However, the tires have over performed well beyond what I expected. I drive Highway and country roads and its always a white knuckle ride (as white knuckle as a Ranger can get). The Solus Kr21 has held the curves better than the Eagles I use on my High Performance Grand Prix. They handled the winters snow better than expected as well. I am happily impressed. I paid for poor and receieved excelent.

I called Treadepot, spoke with MATT, awesome dude by the way, ordered these tires. In 3 business days I recieived the KUHMO SOLUS KR 21(4 TIRES). I got them installed on my wife's 2008 Honda Civic hybrid. These tires were very quiet on the highway and secondary roads. We have been experiecing excessive rain and a little snow in northern New England - no problem with these tires. We drove through big puddles of water, like they weren't there. We also went up to Fort Kent, Maine where there was still quite a bit of snow on the ground - the tires felt sure footed and handled quite well. I seriously recommend these tires. Good Luck, I hope you enjoy these tires...

I bought these tires in the fall but wanted to wait until driving them through a winter for a review. I now have about 10k mi on them and they show no signs of wear. I am very impressed with these tires. They are quiet and smooth riding, corner and handle well, and did very well in a snowy New England winter. I would say they are at least the equal of much more expensive Michelin, BFG and Goodyear tires I have purchased. I just purchased a second set for my wifes car, a Sable, and they improved the ride considerably. If they come even close to their mileage rating I think they are the best tire bargain out there.

I've put about 12,000 miles on these tires and can't see any noticable wear. Very good traction on wet roads and a quiet, stable ride at highway speeds. I pull a fairly heavy boat approx. twice a month and have had no tire spin launching or picking up, which was my main concern. I took a chance on these tires because of the low price for a brand name tire and so far it's paid off. This is a great all around tire, and with proper rotation I believe they will be on my vehicle for a long time.

I live in WI, and boy am I glad I bought these and had them put on in October. We had record snow falls in Dec and they have been my best tire I have ever used in the snow. I tried them out on some yellow lights, hard braking, and they gripped like nothing I have had under me before. I bought them looking at the mileage warranty as well as the aggressive tread design knowing snow driving was my biggest concern. They are not showing a bit of wear, if they get anywhere near 85,000, heck if they get near 70,000, for the price, I could not be happier!!! They do have more noise than the BFGoodrich tires that came with my car, but those, if they were not new, I would have trashed them for the snow driving (JUNK). I only put two new tires on the front, can not imagine what 4 under me will do in the snow!

Put these on my daughter's 97 Grand Am and they are great. Very stable and they are excellent in the snow. I have a set of Uniroyal's on my truck that are terrible in winter conditions, so I'm planning to put a set of these on my Sonoma before next winter. The price, quality of tire, and dealing with Treadepot all get high marks from me, I would definitely rate the whole scenario quite high and would repeat the process over.

I drove 63200 miles before tread wear was down to the wear indicators, so don't expect 85000 miles but still not bad for the cost. Never had any flat tires. Rotated tires every 6k to 8k for the life of the tire. They are a little noisier than OE tires but you cant really tell that much difference between OE and these tires. I put another set on Honda Element and I hope to do as well.

Very quick delivery! These tires are amazing for being hard tires. Handles well in the snow and feels comfortable. They are quiet as well. Other people's reviews got me to buy them. The ratings are true! I would recommend them for a good deal. I learned more about tires recently and wished I would have noticed that they are hard tires looking at the specs. They will last longer but won't handle as well as soft tires. I hear soft tires do better in the snow too. I will say though that these handle pretty well overall. Can't complain!!! I won't have to worry about a new set for awhile!!!

I have driven my Ford Escape over 25,000 miles on these tires, and they are great. The tires have very little road noise compared to the stock o.e.m. tires. They are very good in the snow and good on wet pavement they do hydroplane a little (in a downpour rainstorm), but over all a great tire. They also look like new; very little wear. I will most likely buy these again.

Purchased a few years ago for the wifes car as she was averaging 20-30k per yr. Original factory tires only went 40k. Have over 70k on the Kumhos and just now looking to replace. This is with them not always being properly rotated either. No real issues, only recently did she complain of it spinning from a stop when it rained so will likely be replacing with the same tire in the next week or so. For the price versus Michelins I will buy again. Really unclear how other people have had to replace at half the mileage unless they drive like nascar wannabes.

I feel some slight vibration at speeds between 75 and 85 on Interstate driving. At normal speeds around 65 to 74 are fine. They are excellent handeling tires, look like very expensive tires whereas the prices are for the working poor people in the United States that consider being able to buy a new set of tires a luxury that could be the difference of tires or being able to buy food, rent or any of the other millions of things that most people take for granted! My Cadillac has 135,000 miles on it and still drives as it did when I ordered and bought it new. Goood job and thank-you for making a quality tire that is so very affordable for the many many working poor in America whom live from pay check to pay check. GOD BLESS YOU!

It is sort of a fluke that we ended up with these tires but I am glad we did! On top of being quiet and smooth riding, they are long lasting and the price is great.

We plan to sell this van in a year or so. I was not going to put on nice tires. The local tire shop gave me three bids with the KR21 at the top of the list. Thanks to Treadepot's price and free shipping, I was able to install the KR21 for less than the lowest quality tire from the local guy! Now we can sell the car with a great set of tires on it.

Thanks a ton, Treadepot!

I replaced some really poor tires with 2 of these Kumho's about a year ago and they ride great! I wouldn't say they have the best traction but for just over $50 a tire, you cannot go wrong. These tires balanced easy and have a good smooth quiet ride. I put 25,000 miles on the front two and have now put them on the back and installed two more to complete a matching set. The two with 25k on them are wearing very well and I would expect to get somewhere around the advertised mileage out of them.

These tires are the second set I've had on this car. They are good tires, and grip well in rain and light snow, and also feel dependable and predictable on the highway in summer. The only reason I don't rate them higher is that the last set came nowhere close to the 85k mileage 'guarantee.' More like 45k, but I consider that to be the norm for tire life anyway, so as long as you aren't really expecting to get a full 85k out of them, you'd do well by these.

The original equipment tires on my 2011 Kia Sorento are the Kumho KR21 and thus far have been a great tire. Having spent the first winter in Maine, these tires did exceptionally well in snow and ice. With 34,000 miles on them now, the tires are still quiet and provide decent grip. Rarely I've noticed some slight hydroplaning on wet roads, however overall I've been happy with the traction in the rain. The only downside to these tires is the mileage will be nowhere near 85,000, however I can see getting 45-50K out of them, which is better than other tires I've had. When it's time to buy new tires I'll opt for these KR21's again (from Tread Depot of course) as overall they've been great.

Agree with others that road noise is noticeable but not a deal-breaker. Handling and grip feel secure. Impressive for a brand I hadn't heard of before (Goodyear, Michelin guy). I reviewed these tires after I drove them for a winter and they had about 8k miles on them. At the time I said they were a great tire and if they came close to the 85k mileage claim they would be one of the best buys out there. I am still very happy with the handling in all conditions, but they now have 28k mi on them and the wear is more than I expected given their mileage claim. They have been rotated and the inflation checked regularly and the car has been driven by my wife and daughter who are not aggressive drivers. It looks like they will last to maybe 45-50k mi before they need to be replaced which is about what I would expect for a tire in this price range. The 85k mile claim seemed too good to be true, and it was.

The tire was better than the Integrity but didn't get nearly the treadlife from this tire. After 7k, tire became slightly noisy then increased as time went on. I didn't find it to cling to the road well in wet weather. Also this tire didn't handle all that well on the highway as it vibrated at speeds over 65 mph. I would only buy this tire, if I couldn't afford anything else.

When I first purchased these tires I thought 'what a great deal I'm getting for such a popular brand name'.....well, that didn't last long. The tires handle very well, both in sunny and rainy weather- the traction is outstanding ....However, I haven't even reached 10,000 miles with them yet and they are already showing the wear bars on the outside tread. The alignment has been checked twice & the psi is correct as I check them on a bi-monthly basis.... The road noise is horrendous!!! I don't think I've ever had a pair of tires register so much on the decible meter; I can't even hear the radio half the time. Although the price was more than reasonable at the time, so far it's a purchase that I've regretted making. WL CLearwater, Florida

OK, I bought these tires after a recommendation from my local Hyundai Dealer. The worst thing I ever did. The tread life is nothing like stated. I have 24,000 miles on these tires and I'm already placing an order to replace. The Santa Fe I have came with BF Goodrich Long Trails. I had those tires for 60,000 miles with no issues. These tires have higher road noise with less tread life. Only buy them if your trying to save a buck before dumping the vehicle. I almost bought a set for my wife's Sonata but desided on going with General Tires. I just purchased a set for my suv to replace those pieces of crap. It is so bad that a rock was sticking into the tread cutting a hole in the tire. I've been driving for 18 years and have never noticed or seen a rock start to work its way into the rubber. I've had rocks get stuck in between the tread but this one was cutting into the tire. I bought these tires for the warranty. I could return them for prorated, but its not even worth waisting my time on.

Car vibrates bad at 60mph. Rebalanced tires trice already. Must have one bad one. Very dissatisfied because the tires look great and go through the snow pretty well. Bought the same brand before and had no problems so take this with a grain of salt.

I bought these tires to replace Falken tires that were patched getting holes on the roads. The replacement happened before the due dates to buy new tires, and those become so loud at higher speeds that they were unbearable. Now, I have new tires with 500 miles in them, and the loudness came back. Up to 45 miles per hour the ride is pretty smooth, no noise. I can not even return these tires because they are not damaged, and it would be too much of a hassle. I would return them believe me.

I purchased these tires because of the mileage warranty of 85000 miles. After 33000 miles, I had to replace them. Called (Kumho) about them and was told I could receive a percentage refund, which was very little.

The combination at the time of good reviews, high mileage claims, and competitive price motivated me to get a set of tires on the vehicle listed plus our Honda Van. This was about 5 years ago when these Kumhos had been around not as long, so all the great reviews were not after a lot of miles. The upside is that the tires have been on the Toyota for 5 years and the Honda somewhat less, maybe 3 to 4. The Toyota got 35k miles and should have been replaced 5k miles ago at least. I'd say the Honda has gotten not even 30k miles. So, if we put more miles on our vehicles, we would have needed to replace both sets in like 2 years. The tires look good and ride good at first, hence the great reviews given the lower price. It didn't take long for them to go downhill. Neither set has ridden smoothly in a while and I tried to have the Toyota rebalanced once or twice to no avail. The Toyota tires even had nitrogen, so so much for the longer life with nitrogen. I'm trying Cooper or Michelin this time around.

First winter on these fresh tires, the SUV was a beast but as tread wore down so did winter traction, almost none at end of tire life. Wet traction has always been good, tire wear was poor but I guess my SUV just doesn't get good tread wear. OEM tires got less mileage. I would like to find a good wearing tire for my Explorer so I will not buy these again.

I did not buy these here but when I got them they were a huge improvement in the snow over my Bridgestone Pozenza's so all was great. The next winter the tread started to separate from the tire with 36000 on them when they are rated for at least 50000. It was not a fluke either... few weeks later my dads car with the exact same tires did the same thing at 35000. When I went to the company they were such a pain I just gave up on them. Loved them in the winter, had no issues in wet or dry conditions but tread separating is a really bad deal.

Decided to save money by buying a less expensive tire. Big mistake. Feels like I'm driving on Fred Flintstone wheels. When I first got the tires the car pulled to the left. The dealer took the tires off the left rims and put them on the right rims to try and fix the problem. Never really solved the problem. Got 60K miles out of the times. Felt like the steering wheel was going to vibrate loose the whole time. Guess they were made of some really hard rubber. Going back to Michelin's this time.

I bought these tires less than 6 months ago and will never buy them again. Only 15,000 miles and I'm almost down to the nerf bar on the tire. I commute 50 miles a day for work and with moderate driving and these tires have worn pretty fast. Good tire for the price, but poor quality. A huge disappointment coming from Kumho.

These are not premium tires. Only got 34K miles on a set that had an 85K warranty. Of course, Kumho would not do anything -- even though I'd had all the required maintenance done. Very bad product -- and company.

Purchased 4 tires for 500.00, (the truck then) pulled from side to side at highway speeds and worse on a windy day. The tires only lasted 17 months and 26,000 miles before all 4 were almost completely bald. I was told Kumho would not warranty the tires, they claim would last 85,000. They did not even come close, I would not suggest anybody purchase these tires. I guess I learned my lesson on not buying a brand name tire.

Bought these tires in July, 2009 and said they were 85,000 mile tires. At 35,000 starting hearing something on the back right tire. Got out and noticed extreme wear on all 4 tires and mechanic said only about 10,000 miles left on them, that would take it to 45,000 miles and I don't think they will last that long. I would never buy these tires again.

Had these tires for 17 months and put 20K miles on them. My friend in Florida recommended them and claims to get good wear out of them. However, that is not what I experienced. I desperately need new tires already and will not be buying these again. Although the treadwear rating is pretty high I believe it is exaggerated. No, I did not have the tires rotated or the car aligned since I had them installed, but I am not having problems with vibration or steering. Also the tires were quiet and handled beautifully when new. As far as traction in the snow goes they were ok but I did have some issues going up hills in the winter. Maybe if you live in Florida these tires will work for you, but I doubt it.

I am an average 50+ year old driver of a 12 year old Toyota Highlander in very good condition. Not aggressive. Purchased 4 of these tires on June 6, 2009 and after only 40,058 miles they are worn out. They are supposed to have an 85,000 mile warranty!!! That is why I bought them! The tires were well maintained and rotated and balanced with every oil change. DO NOT BUY THESE TIRES AND EXPECT TO GET 85,000 MILES ON THEM. You might get 40,000 miles!

I have had 2 different sets of this tires. One on my wifes car and one on mine. I have had 8 punctures between the sets. I have had several different tires before and never had more than one puncture per set. One tire got 3 different nails in it with in a couple months. Never buy Kumho tires for my friend has a set and already had 2 flats in 20,000 miles.

Purchased these in July 2013. Went less than 6,000 miles on them and had TWO tires go bad from getting pebble punctures on them. The other two that were left looked fine and I continued to drive on them for another two months. During that two month period of time, I took my car to the service station 3x at $85 an hour to get the car looked at as it felt like I had a shimmy up front. After diagnostics, rim testing, checking my hubs and bearings, they looked at the tires a third time and found out that BOTH HAD BROKEN BELTS! From highway driving, no less! I am beyond TICKED OFF that by the time these got to me and were installed, I was out $700 to drive on them for less than 6 months, PLUS THE COST OF REPLACEMENT TIRES. These tires are complete crap and are extremely unsafe to boot. DO NOT BUY!!!!

These tires are not good for my honda odyssey 2006. All four tires were mounted and balance by the Honda dealer and they confirmed after 3 times of comming back to them for same problem of shaking in the steering above 65mph. Finally found the tires are bad. No way to rotate them because all 4 are bad. Maybe for this size only?

WARNING : they are make in China not Korea for this model KR21. I have to scrap those 4 new tires. Never, never, never buy Kumho again. Total cost: tires, mounted, balance, wheel alignment = $550 down the drain.
