The Toyo Proxes 4 Plus delivers ultra high performance all season versatility plus long tread life and a quiet ride. It also features significant improvments in snow performance, especially braking.

  • Longer Tread Life Design: Delivers 14,000 more miles than the leading competitor in head to head testing.
  • Limited Lifetime Treadwear Warranty: 50,000 miles on V and W rated; 45,000 miles on Y-rated. Rear tires of staggered fitment applications qualify for half of the stated treadwear warranty.
  • New high silica content tread compound delivers exceptional grip particularly in wet conditions, while also returning much longer treadlife.
  • Enhanced Footprint: Outer tread design elements feature wide ribs and an enclosed shoulder increasing the contact area, which improves steering response and delivers higher cornering performance.
  • All Season Optimized Inner Tread: Wide grooves and high sipe density on the inner half of the tread maximizes water and snow evacuation, while improving braking and acceleration.
  • Multi Wave Sipes: Further enhances the tires contact patch improving wet and dry traction and delivering a smooth, quiet ride.

Disappointed to find out that the old Proxes 4 was discontinued, but you can't argue with the improvements Toyo made with the new tires. I got just over 45K on the old ones and the handling and ride were spot on for my 3 series. The new tire is quieter still, and the grip is AWESOME! I am not Mario Andretti or anything but the new tires have inspired me and the old bimmer to take the long way home a few times already. My only complaint was that UPS lost one of the tires on the way to me, but that's par for the course. Love the tires!

Want to love these tires

Let me start off by saying I have been a fan of Toyo tires as I had a set of T-1R's on my autocross car and had a set of Open Country A/T's on a 1994 Range Rover that lasted over 70,000 miles. I have always had good luck with Toyo's in the past. Now on my current BMW 530i I had upgraded to a set of BBS RS-GT's with 245/35 R 19's in the front and 275/30 R 19's in the back. I had just come to end of my Michelin Pilot Sports and got about 20,000 miles out of those. I commute 46 miles to work one way and while I love the Michelins I don't enjoy replacing tires every year, espeacially at their price. I did some research and based on the cost, the Toyo name, and the expected milage I could get I decided to go with the Proxes Plus 4's. Tires literly showed up the next day with free shipping. Amazing. I work for a BMW dealership and had the tires installed the next day. Tires look great and thought I had made the right choice until I drove my car. What a huge let down. First thing I noticed was an increase in road noise at any speed. Secondly, between 45-65mph my steering wheel vibrated back and forth. I immediately drove my car back into the shop bay to see if a wheel balance was gone. Long story short, after putting it on our Hunter balancer which road force balances the tire, it determines the tire is out of round, defective from Toyo. Call Tread Depot and get in touch with Andrew Wood. Super courteous on the phone and says no problem send it back. Emailed me a paid for UPS return label and would send one out right away. I did have to pay for it upfront but he credited back my card immediately once the old tire was received back to them. Got the new tire in 2 days and reinstalled. Vibration is better but the tires are still God awful on noise. That night I drove the car home for the first time and noticed another problem that utimately caused me to send all of the tires back. At around 75 mph when you hit an expansion joint on a bridge the tires would wallow and feel like they were flat. I had 38psi in all tires. Very weird floaty feeling that is just not right. So good thing I keep my old Michelins. Put them back on for the time being and even on worn out tires the steering and ride is rock solid. Andrew Wood sent me out UPS labels to return with zero resistance. I am ultimately going to go with the Conti DWS's. Hope they are better. Tread Depot has been more than awesome about the whole problem. Not sure if the staggering is what is causing some of this but these tires should have been great, but ultimately they were truly dismal for me. Spend the extra cash and get some Michelins or Conti's.

About half the cost of the dunlops that came on the car with same mileage warranty. Great traction in the rain. Only have 2000 on them but have had plenty of toyos on other cars and trucks and like the value that you get as compared with Michelin goodyear dunlop yoko etc. Have decent tread pattern that should be fine in light snow while still having a speed rating that will let me cruise through the nevada desert. Tires were delivered to local preferred installer at goodyear who wanted 4 hours to install so picked them up and took to local tire shop which was much quicker and around the same price.

These are great tires for average commuter driving style. The TSX has a very firm ride. These tires soften the ride while still providing sporty handling and control. It was been the Toyo and Continental DWS. I think I made the right choice. For the price, these cannot be beat.

I love these tires. I purchased them because I already have a set on my 2004 SL500. I have 20" S63 wheels on this car and these tires are really quiet considering the larger wheel size. They also have enough grip for either car. The higher mileage warranty and price were also a factor. I don't drive aggressive enough for sport tires and appreciate the better ride from the all-season tread. I'll buy them again.

Replaced these with the stock Michelin pilot sport and the difference is night and day. Not only are the 4Plus tires cheaper than the Michelins they outperform that tire in every way possible. Quiet, have lots of grip in dry, wet I noticed slightly more hydroplaning but still decent grip, snow not so great...but the Civic SI is horrible in snow even with winter tires on lol.

Am very HAPPY with these tires and I would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a quality tire and a SMOOTH ride. I wouldn't ever buy any other brand tires, TOYO is the way to go.

Got these staggered. 225/40/19 255/35/19. Hugs the road. Light snow was no problem. Rain no problem but who would be driving fast in the rain. Very happy and will repeat purchase when the time comes. My M3 feels better. I drive very aggressive around turns and highway ramps. Other wise speed all around.

First used Toyos on my 1997 GTI. They should be OE being the quietest, longest lasting and best performing rubber compared to many others. Some manufacturers change their design or manufacturing process thus changing user experiences. However, thus far Toyo has never disappointed.

Very happy with these. This is probably my 12th set of Toyos for my various vehicles and they are always a good choice. These Proxes 4+ tires are one the least expensive tires to fit this car and are very quiet. The Hankooks that came on this car were ridiculously loud. These are noticeably more quiet. The Sonata probably has some road noise that will always come through but I am no longer having to turn up the radio to combat the tire howl when the pavement changes. Good traction in rain and dry, also had a few hundred miles in Ohio snow and they were acceptable. Best value for money, highly recommend.

These tires are much quieter and smoother riding than any tires that have been on this car . The last tires were not worn out but were just so noisy I had to replace them. The mazda three is very noisy with the wrong tires. Now the car drives better than it did when brand new.

I haven't driven long on these tires but am already a fan. Encouraged by Toyo's investment in racing and their 50,000 mile warranty (the Goodyears lasted less than 30,000), they seemed like the right choice. Now that they're on & have a few miles I've realized not only are they cheaper but compared to the Goodyears the Toyos are a softer, stickier compound with lower noise & more overall comfort (even at slightly higher PSI). The biggest post-purchase bonus is they'll let you know to slow down before you end up facing the other way; the Toyos are a lot more forgiving than the Goodyears. Essentially driving w/ stability & traction control off on these Toyos is like driving with it on w/ the Goodyears. Rain performance is about the same but less hydroplaning with the Toyos, probably due to new-tire tread depth though. I'm curious how they will compare in the upcoming Wisconsin winter (which this car should see less than 1000 miles on). All-in-all a thumbs up to the Toyo team on this tire. Perfect fit for my all-season, everyday-driving, high-performance 4-door.

I received this tire from Tread Depot and did not notice, at first, the size of this tire. When I put it in my car to have it mounted - it was as wide as one of my seats! Anyway, once it was mounted I immediately noticed the AMAZING grip this tire had on the road. WOW! Great tire - great price - VERY pleased!

Very quiet tire, dry and in rain, driving response is very good. In the snow they are so so - slipped a little more than I liked, but that could have been from the torque of the TDI. In the end, they never failed to get me home.

Excellent dry grip, very stable in the rain, firm sidewall, great cornering control. Haven't tried these in snow yet but the tread pattern seems like it should at least provide decent snow traction. Tire also is lighter weight than many All-seasons of the same size. I have 245/35/20 front and 295/30/20 rear and the 295s really provide a great launch and very stable ride, quiet too! Very high treadwear rating, should really last much longer than tires costing much more, really didn't expect such great grip w/ such a high treadwear rating. Would most definitely buy this tire again!!

I am coming from and hankook Ventus v12 tires and those were okay but too harsh over bumps and very heavy. These tires Grip better comparing new to new and they also are much quieter. It can be a bit squirmy at highway speeds when wet, but I think that the tire requires more air pressure than a tire with firmer sidewalls. Running a stretch set up you have to put more pressure - I'm at 40 and the tire flexes too much. The tire looks great with a stretch but due to the hard taper, it does make me feel like I can crack the rim easier. Overall I'm happy with them once I get my tire pressure correct i'm sure they will be awesome. Slightly stretching a 225/30/20 on a 8.5 wheel. And a 255/30 on 20x10 wheel

I staggered my tires, like the stock F1's I opted not to replace. I went with 275 in the rear and they look sharp. Love the aggressive tread and am looking forward to a longer tread life with these tires. The F1s are ridiculous. Wore bald at approx 14K miles. Fast shipping from TreadDepot. Love it.

These are mounted on 17x9" rims. I really haven't pushed the tires yet, but from a DD perspective, they are a very good tire. The sidewall has a bit of flex that helps absorb road imperfections, but the tires do not feel vague. They are as quiet or more quiet than the Proxes 4 tires that I had before.

I have only driven on these tires for a short time but I have had the chance to drive them through dry and wet conditions and I am very happy with the performance. We had torrential down pours last week and they performed very well through the wettest of conditions. I didn't experience any wheel slip or slide at all. I have purchased toyo Tires several times in the past and I have never had anything but great things to say about them. I would absolutely recommend this tire to anyone.

Very Quiet compared to other high performance all seasons , great dry and wet traction , can really push the limit of the car and feel in control . Got 8 in of snow the day after I got them and they handled good (awd might be a factor) . All in all I am happy with them . I would recommend them over the last tires I had Bridgestone p109 grids both handle similar but the Proxes are much quieter and smoother ride.

This tire was recommended by many different tire dealers and I did some research as well online. I couldn't be happier with my decision to go with a non-OE tire (non run-flat). So far, this tire has proved to have and excellent ride and performance with very little noise too! I had Continental Pro Contact run flats prior and was tired of the HARD ride and terrible mileage I received. Toyo did well and certainly would buy again!

Pros: Quiet ride, great handling, pretty light weight and should last. Cons: Ultimate grip on wet and dry is short of a true summer tire, but is acceptable for an all season tire. Not great in the snow. Once moving it's decent but stop and go driving, not that great. The Verdict: Great riding tire that handles itself like a smooth max performance summer tire with just a little bit less traction. They should get you through the occasional snow storm with careful driving, but I wouldn't recommend them for heavy winter use. When you consider the life expectancy of the tire and the price, it's a hard to beat .

Since the SRT8 is mostly a weekend toy, not too many miles have been driven on the new Toyo Proxes 4's. What I would like to emphasize, though, was the ease of purchasing tires through treaddepot.com. I had a little trouble purchasing online so I placed a phone call to them. Customer service was top notch and a few minutes later my order was processed. Less than 24 hours later the tires were delivered and soon after that I had them installed on the car. They replaced the factory tires, which had less than 9000 miles on them, but had become hard do to age. The ride was noticeably improved as soon as I left the tire shop. They are a lot quieter and from what other SRT owners have described they will be a much better all-around tire compared to factory tires. All in all, I would definitely recommend treaddepot.com to anyone looking to purchase tires.

As much as I wasn't impressed with the tread pattern, it's an impressive tire. Ride and comfort are great! My Civic Si finally turns and handles the way it should have from day one. I don't think it's ever driven this nice! I'm a moderate to aggressive driver and I've had the chance to put these to a bit of a limit without being reckless and it handles curves and turns at moderate to high speeds like a boss! Although I spent a lot of money on them, so as well they should. As far as I can see it at this point, without spending close to $800 or more, the Proxes 4P's are the way to go when it comes to wanting something under your chassis you feel safe with at mid-high speeds and yet still have a great ride quality. And noise factors concerned, it's a quiet tire on my car. Although I have an Si with an aftermarket pipe, so it's not an issue anyhow. ;]

Purchased these for my 300C SRT8 which sees a couple of track days every now and then. Upgraded the size from 245 to 275 in the rear to get more traction. I am disappointed in the dry traction, however it is a great tire straight line and highway. Very quiet, smooth and comfortable. Does have great lateral grip, however these do have a softer sidewall so when pushing the tire to the limit you will feel sidewall flex, but I don't push them enough laterally to care about that. Tires take some time to break in so hoping dry traction gets better, loved the ride and lateral grip purchased them for another low power vehicle. Good all season tire.

For the price, you cant beat the life expectancy warranty you get on these tires. I have virtually no tread wear at all after driving a couple thousand miles. The dry grip and handling is exceptional. The wet grip is up to par with other high performance tires but doesn't stand out. The road noise from these is slightly more noticeable than my last tire (Kumho) but not intolerable. I am pleased with these so far.

Very sensitive to potholes. Killed 2 tires the last 2 months. Consider the road hazard insurance coverage.

so I took my time to research alternates to having to put more expensive Michelin pilot sport A/S 3's on and these rated better than Continentals. so I go on toyo's website and make sure they suggest this tire for my car and they rate them to almost as good their quietest tire so took a chance bought them, put them on and thought to myself what adisappointment...almost as loud as my wore out pilot sport a/s. OMG I can't believe I bought these. As they say 45 day and return but try doing that when you buy them off line...good luck with it As for ride comfort, they are decent for and agree with most they ride nice, handling like most say not as sharp as Michelins but again was expected and very livable. As for rain they are okay, not as good as Michelins but acceptable and handle deep water well. I have yet to put them through some corners on dry but Id imagine they will not be as responsive but will handle well. In summary I guess the road noise kills this tire. I mean tires are brand new what will they be like in 10-15k?? Only louder, I feel like I cheaped out and suffering cause of it. Sure I get to figure out how to give them back but then pay for remounting of tires, front the cost of Michelins and pay an extra $200 cause I was cheap. Save your money and wait to afford the Michelins well worth the extra money.

Lets start by saying that because of the reviews, I though these tires were a good purchase. I am an average driver. There are times when having a sports car comes in handy, meaning I do step on the gas, but for the most part I don't put the car to the test. That been said, lets talk about the tires. Definitely better than the stock tires I would think, grip on dry conditions is actually really good, handling is good as well, but road noise is actually not good at all. You can definitely hear almost everything you drive over. And the biggest down fall of the tires is wet conditions. Like mentioned before, I am an average driver and the car has hydroplaned a few times while driving in wet. Around the corners when come to a complete stop there has been times where there is no grip all at. Keep in mind that all this is on wet conditions. Now, it recently snowed here in GA and the car was un-drivable. The tires had no grip at all with very little snow on the roads, it felt like I was ice-skating (10 mho). Bottom line, I would try something else next time I have to buy another set of tires.

Went from 17's to 20's. These tires transmit alot of road noise. Sounds like you're on a plane. Could not deal with it. Lexus cars have well isolated interiors. I'm used to a quiet ride. The actual ride was smooth and handled well for a 4000 lb car. My car is an oem sport suspension model which I think has different suspension bushings. The noise was too much for what i'm used to. Was able to return the tires and get Continental DWS. The DWS are way (more) quiet compared to the Toyo 4 Plus. Glad I could upgrade! If you want a quiet ride get the Continental DWS over the Proxes 4 Plus.
