For an OE tire is does the job its supposed to do, its quiet. The only problem I have noticed is if you do not rotate them as often as you should they start to feather pretty quick and then they start getting noisy. I would get them again if they were on sale but I definitely would put something else on once it is time.

These tires do great in all kind of weather, dry roads, wet, and snow. The only issue I have with these tires is the wear is poor. I had taken the vehicle back with the 1st set that I had purchased after 25,000 miles they were worn at 4/32nd tread. The tire is to last 60,000 miles. My second set of this tire after 25,000 miles is shown between 6/32 and 7/32. They will never see 60,000 miles. They are rotated every 5,000 miles and tires pressures check on a regular basis.

Bought my Jaguar 2 yrs ago, I consider myself an average driver (20K/Yr) the tires haven't given me any troubles. There is a 60K warranty on them I'm at 46,000 miles and getting ready to replace them with the same tire. I've been pleased with the quality, performance and the noise level.

Want to start by saying that my 2011 Camry came with Bridgestone tires on it. Let me also say that I would drive on the rims before I would put another set of Bridgestone on any of my vehicles. The Bridgestones lasted less than 20K miles despite rotating them at recommended intervals. I could have dealt with that if it weren't for the indifference of Bridgestone and the Toyota dealer wanting to sell me the same piece of crap tires for $188 each. How refreshing it was to deal with Continental. The tires have been fine but then again they're tires not too exciting just satisfied. What has been outstanding is the customer service. The tires that I chose were part of a promotion for a GPS with purchase of 4. I received an email when they received my rebate submission and received the GPS in a timely manner. The problem was that the GPS was defective. I called continental expecting the indifference of Bridgestone, but instead they arranged to have the defective unit picked up the next day complete with a new replacement. That is the kind of customer service I appreciate and will move Continental to the top of my list when the time comes again to purchase new tires.

Great tires...great ride and handling with minimal road noise. No complaints on this tire. Holds pressure well and last longer than any other tires I've had (I own 5 vehicles). Blew one tire when I hit road debris (truck wheel)and drove flat to my tire dealer. Only problem, no dealer's in my area stock the tire so I had to wait until next day...not bad. I will buy this tire again & soon as I have nearly 49K on them! Downside... they're expensive.

Great Tire

I've driven 55,000 on the tires and have driven most of them in Florida and they've taken the heat of the hot Florida roads and handled great in the rain. I still have some tread left, but will need to replace before the rainy season hits, just to be safe. The tire is quiet on the freeways and handles well on curvy roads. I did notice some small cracks in one of the sidewalls of one of the tires at 54,989 miles. Keeping the tires properly inflated and rotating them is the key. Tires don't seem to last in the Florida heat and I've had other brands on different cars that didn't last nearly as long as these. I'm definitely going to get the same tires as they've almost made it to their posted maximum useful life.

The roads today are full of pot holes and cracks; lack of government priority. Not expecting any tires to perform to 60k, none of the other brands have on my other cars/truck. Regardless, recently caught in 4'' of fresh snow for several hours and the traction was great while other cars slid. I rotate tires every 6-10K and keep air in check. Don't drive aggressive and take curves moderatley. Being a light car, the tires should do well unless a pot hole gets them first. They're a low profile performance tire, Continenal shouldn't make such a high mileage rating claim. You would have to drive all hwy miles where the roads are in good condition and straight to achieve 60k.

I have no complaints with this brand of tire. I'm in the military and it's taken me from Texas to SC a couple of times, the Deleware area a couple times, and back and forth between North and South ALL THE TIME. No problems. Im reading the reviews now because it's time for another set. No, i didn't make it to 60K, but I'm definitely the closest out of any other reviews I've read. I guess it depends on the car and the driver as well. Maybe the same type of car, but all cars are different in some way. Can't be manufactured perfectly. I usually get them rotated every 3,000 when I get the oil changed. I'm definitely at that flush line now. I'll be purchasing some new ones real soon. With Gods grace, soon enough.

This tire has the best responsiveness I have ever had in a tire. You can without a doubt feel the road and make very accurate moves if needed with these tires. I have the alignment checked, tire balanced, and rotated every 5,000 miles due to a tire maintenance package I perchased through Goodyear. The only issue that I have with this tire is that Continental claims that this tire is a 60,000 mile tire. I will be lucky if I can get 40,000 mile on these tires before I will be forced to purchase new tires. I do not mind buying a 40,000 mile tire if they would say that it is a 40,000 mile tire. The issue is that I am buying what they are calling a 60,000 mile tire and only getting 40,000 miles out of them. I have had the dealer,(Nissan) look at the tires and a rep from Goodyear to tell me why they are wearing so fast and the common response was that you will get about 5,000 miles less from Continental Tires, than you would from other tire makers. This is only a "T" rated tire as well. I have had to replace 2 of them due to road hazards and they where $120 plus all of the extras to get them. Now I see that they are here for only $71 I just might buy them again knowing what I am getting. Despite this only problem that I have had they, are one heck of a tire. I do recommend them to anyone who has alot of money and likes to drive on the edge because these tires will hold you there. Note: we have been to the North Carolina mountains three times now on these tires and what a ride.......

Came a OE on 2011 VW Jetta TDI. Frist road trip to Florida and back. Quiet on the highway and good in the rain. Can't wait for the snow to hit so I can see how they are. Too early to tell if I would replace with the same model.

The run flat part works fine (got a nail in it last night) but they wear down way too fast. I talked to Mini dealership and they say the average on these tires is 17,000 to 20,000 miles before replacement. I know all of us Mini owners think we are race car drivers but c'mon 18,000 miles on a 60,000 mile rated tire. Will not purchase again.

These tires were OE on my 2008 VW GTI. They have a fairly civilized ride, were quiet for the most part except for a slight whine at speed that was noticeable if you did not have the radio on. For an all weather grand touring tire they were a nice compromise of handling and ride and were fairly responsive. However, at 28,000 miles, the one original tire I have left is near the wear bars. Why do I only have one tire left? The other three were replaced because of a sidewall bubble, a sidewall puncture, and what seemed to be a wobble caused by a defect but I was told I must have hit a pothole. That being said, I think the average to slightly enthusiastic driver would be happy with the performance ability of these tires, but would not be happy with the seemingly low mileage and relatiive fragility of these tires in the size I have listed (225-45-17) This tire in a wider sidewall and narrower size would probably be more durable. They surprised me with their ability on snow and ice (my vehicle is equipped with a great stability and traction control system) but in the rain they weren't as good as other tires I've had. Don't get me wrong, they are safe enough in the rain, just not as good as the best. For the money, they handle well and are relatively quiet and comfortable, but mileage could be better and they could be a little more durable. If Continental improved the mileage and durability in the size I need I would definitely buy them again.

I bought these run flat tires for my wife's car and they are a lot cheaper than the bridgestones that were on there. That being said they ride and drive really well with very little road noise but after only 9000 miles on one of the rear inside tire blew out in the sidewall, and after another thousand miles the other side blew on the inside.

Got barely half the life of these tires on my 2011 Nissan Altima. Lots of road noise too. Going with Toyo this time.

These tires came with my '08 Nissan Versa. They rode pretty good, never really had any problem with them. Only complaint is I needed new tires at 27,000 miles, and these are a 60k tire.

These tires were the original equipment on my 2008 Altima. I do 80% of my driving on the highway and these tires give a good ride with good responsiveness. My priority when driving is gas mileage, not performance, so I have not been tough on these tires. The only performance concern I have with these tires is wet traction. My tires have spinned several times when accelerating from a stop on a wet road in first gear (6 speed manual). In addition, I have noticed that I have hydroplaned several times on the highway while traveling approximately 70 miles an hour. Given that, I now drive slower when it's raining. The other issue is the mileage claim on these tires. They are now all approaching the wear bar at just under 41000 miles. I will probably be able to get 50000 miles out of them, but they'll be well into the wear bars by that time. I will likely replace them with another tire available at Treadepot with a higher mileage claim as I average 35000 miles a year. I'd rather spend a little more money and get longer tread life.

Always had these tires on the car since bought new. They've done good for the most part. The latest set I bought roar more than the all terrains on my truck. Its very disturbing and aggravating. You cant have a normal conversation inside what normaly is a quite ride. I will never buy these again.

The tires came with '06 A6. Traction is good, relatively stable, and precise on a hwy. At 53k miles during a long hot summer ride on a hwy, the front tire blow-up. I was able to keep the car straight but rim was gone. Then in a month, the other front tire was bubbled. Talking later to another performance car owner, have heard a similar story when his two 1 y old Conti tires were bubbled. I will not buy any Conti again.

I am at 47,000 mi with two of the tires and anywhere from 17,000 to 40,000 on the other two. It takes nearly nothing to cause an impact break on these tires. They are supposed to be a 60,000 mi tire, but they are not. I will say that they handle well, though. I have had many different cars with many different brands of tires in my 25 years of driving and have only had trouble with flats on Continental tires.

The new car came with this tire. It was a nice quiet ride for the first 12k, after that there was strange noise. After rotating the tires the 3rd time (every 7k) at 20k the noise was unbearable so the rotation had to be undone. The reason for the noise was that the tires “washed out”ith an uneven profile. Now after 25k the tires are down to the [wear bars] so that I have to replace them (for sure) not with the same brand.

This set of ContiProContact tires came as original equipment on my 2009 Taurus X. We have driven only 30,000 km (that's just 18,000 miles) and when I was in for an oil change the dealership said that the tires were approaching the wear bars. Say what!? We are buying another Ford soon and I saw in the showroom that the new cars come with ContiProContact tires. I told the salesperson that I would only buy the car if they swapped out the Continental tires for something that actually lasts. (We'll see what they say.) In contrast, I've got a full set of Bridgestones on my Explorer and after over 40,000 miles they look as good as new - still have loads of tread left! As far as I'm concerned, you can keep your Continental tires.

These were OEM tires on my car. I rotated them every 6k miles and barely got 30k out of them while they were rated at 60k. I thought that maybe it was something I did wrong. Replaced the first set with the same tires to only get the same result. The place where I purchased the tires said they have the same complaint from many customers about these tires. Would NEVER buy these tires ever again!

These tires came on our new 2011 Honda Odyssey. I had them for 15,000 miles before I had to replace them. They were plugged 8 times. On the 9th time, the guy at the garage said that particular tire had 4 holes. They were unsafe and I had to put new ones on. His wifes van also came with these tires and he had to replace them with low miles for the same reason. The new ones have 8,000 miles and have not had any problems. The leaks were spread out over the entire 15,000 miles, it was not a case of running over something that caused the punctures in a short period of time. I am getting ready to purchase a 2012 Honda, and part of the deal is no Continentals on the new one!

These came standard on my new Versa. At 18K they are shot. I've used Conti's regularly on my old Subaru, but will not be buying from them again.
