They have good wet traction and did OK in light snow but I had to replace these tires after only 21,000 miles. And as the tread wore down they got extremely noisy.

45 years in the automotive repair industry, live in upstate N.Y., and I'm stuck in N.C. with out of round Trendsetters. I'm going to shake going up the road and raise holy hell with the wholsaler when I get home. I sold Cooper for 30 years, now I'll never sell or own them again!

Tires are great in dry traction. Wet traction is horrible. Car slides easy while braking and turning at low speed. I would not recommend these with a sport coupe. Also have lot of tire pressure changes especially if the weather tempeture changes or if the car sits for a week. Tire wear is good -- they last a long time but due to the fact that they poor in wet weather im changing them out. Going with another all season tire that has better wet weather traction. Im playing it better safe than sorry.

I bought a 95,000 original mile, one owner,'68 Plymouth Fury III (named her Abigail) and installed 4 new Cooper Trendsetters as it isn't easy to find the correct whitewall tires for the car. Anyways, it was nice to have new tires but, there are times that I seem to feel a wobble, from the rear, and I know it was from the rear! Yesterday, I was in slow traffic on the freeway and I could feel a wobble... from the front! I could watch my hood and see the actual slight movement from side to side! I found this site to see if there were other complaints and lo and behold... here they are! I'm going back to the tire store!

Driven on these tires just under 17000 miles and over half the tread wear is gone. The only way to get 40000 miles out of them is to put them in back of a truck with different brand tires and drive it 40000 miles. JUNK TIRES. Would not recomend them. Good enough for a spare.

Since buying these tires, I have put 57,000km(35,000 miles) on my car, and I run winter tires for 5 months of the year. These tires have about 32,000 Km (20,000 miles) on them, and are rated for 80,000 km (50,000 miles). All 4 tires are down to the wear bars. Tire pressures were checked regularly, at least once a week, and rotated every second oil change. Very disappointed, and no warranty coverage or support offered by Cooper Tire. Will not replace with the same tire. Rode smooth and quiet throughout their short life.

These tires have 13,000 miles on them and already are half worn out. They are the noisiest tire I have ever owned. Sounds like a truck with knobby mud tires going down the road. Yesterday, in 95 degree weather one of them suddenly blew out at 70 mph. I pulled right over and the sidewall was shredded and totally separated from the bead on the wheel. The tires were inexpensve but you get what you pay for. Actally less than you pay for. I honestly would not put another set on the car if they were free. I stronly advise anyoune considering these to pay a few bucks more. There are good tires out there for not much more money.

Purchased the tires around October 2009. From day one My truck had a wobble on the highway. I inspected the tires and found 3 out of 4 to be out of round. I took the tires back and they said my rims were bent. Taking there word for it since I just purchased the truck for work I went and purchased another set of rims. Same thing. I then check these rims myself and found there were no bent rims but 3 bad tires. Let me back up. I am a certified mechanic with over 30 years under my belt and the stupid thing I did was taking someone else's word for what I should of done myself. Cooper use to be a good tire for the money but they wend down hill and are putting out some real junk. Now I'm undecided either to waste another 4 hours out of my day waiting there plus the hour it takes to get there for some more run around or just take them to court. DON'T BY COOPER TIRERS. THEIR JUNK.
