Great Tire Value

I was not sure how well this tire would hold up for our application, but I must say they did great! 5-stars for overall value & performance.

Yes, I am getting another set this week. (Only this time I will get the P255/75 OEM size for better gas mileage.) We use our SUV as a rugged family wagon, and tow platform for a 3,500 lb. boat. It did great on these Wranglers. I have read some negative reviews that simply point back to the vehicle or road conditions, NOT the tire. Look, nothing really grips on ice (my conclusion after 30-years of driving on it.) Also, "understeer" is more likely from the steering geometry of the car/truck.

Bottom line: These are very affordable SUV tires that performed well under my Navigator (one of the BIGGEST on the road.) Wet, dry, quick handling, stopping, snow, algee-covered boat ramps, mud, highway, backroads,...WHATEVER. We spanked these tires for 65,000, and finally wore them out. Keep them balanced & rotated, and they will last. Thanks Goodyear!

Didn't Last, Terrible on Wet Pavement.

My 2009 Ford FX4 Super Crew came with these tires. From the very first day they were terrible on wet pavement. I now have 25,000 on them and the tread is at least 2/3 gone, and what tread is left has gotten hard which makes wet conditions even worse. I know the Florida heat is hard on truck tires, but these did not hold up. Traction wise they do well in light mud and sand, but not so well in heavy, gooey mud. I rate these tires at 2 1/2 stars and would not purchase them again.

I bought these tires online $50 each cheaper than I could get them locally. I kept them rotated about every 5000 miles and got over 52000 miles on them and am still running them. I bought another set of the same type because Goodyear had a rebate going at the time and I also got free shipping.

I purchased a 2003 Jeep Overland 4X4 w 60,000 miles on it in 2007. It still had the OEM tires on it and they still had life left! I replaced with the same Good Year SRAs at 70,000 miles and have driven another 50,000 miles and they won't die! Lots of life yet to go! Great in all conditions and packed a punch with last years snow storms here in the mid-atlantic. Plus, I live on a 100 acre property and do my share of off-roading. Great traction! Plus, highway runs to Maine every two months. Do these things ever wear out? Just picked up a 2007 Ford F150 - I think I'll get a set for this vehicle. The Michelin OEMs on it look pathetic at 23,000 miles. Highly recommend the Wrangler SRA!

Wear has been even and suprisingly long lasting. Works well in the rain, stops well with no loss of traction. Handles snow very well, even the deep stuff. As good as any on ice. Even off road in a muddy field they keep you moving. Pretty quiet on the highway too. No problems, no flats, just a good all purpose tire. Best tire I've had in a long time.

Fantastic Tire. OE from the manufacturer. This tire is right on target for the recommended mileage regarding wear. They grip wet or dry really well. I was driving through the Virginia mountains a few months ago during snow storm and had no problems what so ever. I highly recommend these tires and will absolutely replace mine with the same. Good Job GoodYear!

I put over 63,000 on a set of 50,000 mile tires. The ride was what I expected. The tire did very well in light off-road use. The road noise was a little heavy but not excessive, mainly due to the tread design. Overall, I am well pleased with the value and service life for the money invested.

I didn't own these tires for long time. But as soon as I got these tires put on I instantly felt better traction in the snow . I mean I had very little tire spin if your not romping on them. These are super quiet tires. I take them off roading up muddy, icy, snowy everything you wouldn't want to be putting around in and, hot dang, they walked rite up the mountain side. Also when you want these tires to look good they clean up nice I have a Eddie Bauer explorer I go off roading and I like to also show it off. There a bigger tire I guess compared to other all terrain tires, and very cheap. Now on ice I don't care what tire you got your slipping so have fun with that one. I cant tell you how they handle on dry warm roads. It's just not warm yet to test them, sorry.

Tires came from factor on new Titan. Inside side wall right front cracked at 30,000 and another under bed blew out at 35,000. Neither were the result of visual external damage. Still had ample tread on both. Front was a blow out waiting to happen and back did.

These tire are OEM for my '05 JGC Laredo 4x4 shell cutomized into a limited edition, via dealer, for thousands less. Tires have performed very well in heat, rain, black ice, snow and aggressive drivers. I have avoided aa few accidents because of the Jeeps traction control combined with these sticky tires. My valid complaint is they lasted only 35k before needing replacement. I was somewhat lazy with rotations and balance, so I am partly to blame, but I did perform these tasks. Goodyear wants to charge a premium for the look and status of these tires, which is unfortunate. 35k miles is the very low end for OEM's, highway robbery! I am going to try General Tire's Grabber HTS O.W.L.'s due to the many reviews from trusted sources... but I will pay a premium for Goodyears if I find the General doesn't perform. The advanced traction system should work well with any newer tire still made in the USA, in my opinion.

Cracks quickly and handle badly

These came factory on my Nissan Titan. I would never buy this tire again. The sidewalls seem really flexy and the tires don't handle well at all because of it. So far they have 31,000 miles on them and have about 30-40% tread left, so they get decent mileage out of them. But they will need to be replaced long before the tread ever wears out. At about 20,000 miles (2 years of driving the truck) they developed cracks at the edge of the tread and between the tread blocks. The cracks have gotten slightly worse since then and now i'm starting to worry about the condition of the tires and will replace them before summer comes. I am a car guy, own more cars at one time then most people will own in their life. I am up on vehicle maintenance, tire pressure etc. I rotate them every 6,000 miles and the wear is even. We all know car manufactures put the cheapest name brand tires on a vehicle from the factory and these are the Goodyear version that Nissan chose to use.

I am rating these tires at 2 1/2 stars because the handling sucks but especially for the early cracking. That is unacceptable. I have tires that are 28 years old and they don't have any cracks in them. The tread life seems to be good and i would expect to see close to 50,000 miles out of them if you can burn them up before the cracking starts.

Good Treadwear but Poor Traction

This tire was OEM for my Liberty and was billed as the vehicle's "off road" tire.

The tire has excellent treadwear, and is excellent in the snow. Dry handling is also ok. Keep it slow around the curves becuase the vehicle wants to understeer.

However, wet traction is really bad. When I say bad, I mean downright dangerous at times - no matter if the tire is new or worn. The vehicle fishtails very easily, and I feel like I'm driving on ice when driving through rain on a highway - especially when rounding a turn on an exit ramp.

Off-road these tires are adequate at best. Driving through the pine barrens with the sugar sand, these tires are ok and they float well. However; in any other type of dirt, the treads instantly clog up and the only way my Jeep ever got through (light) mud was due to the car's weight and excellent 4wd gearing.

Overall, the treadwear is good, but for the money (or maybe a little extra more) you can get a tire that is much better in the rain, has BETTER treadwear, has less of a tendency to understeer, and is more competent off-road.

Due to the reviews, I'm thinking of purchasing a set of Firestone Destination A/Ts.

Buyers beware! Purchased new a set of four of these tires. Recently discovered serious side wall cracking on these tires which has less than 30,000km. I do not believe this cracking is normal and I think it will lead to tire failure. This is my first and last Goodyear tire purchase!

This is the 2nd pair of SR-A Goodyear Wranglers I own, they're suppose to have a tread life Warranty of 50k miles, and they're at a tread life of 3, & brand new they were at 12. Goodyear warrantied the first ones I bought. They credited me $400 and they said they could only give me a Goodyear tire that were the same Wranglers. I wanted the RSAs, but didn't have the option to go with them. Now I'm stuck with the option of spending more money, over $1,000, with their discount, or pay $400 for the same tires. This is the last time I'm dealing with Goodyear.
