I searched high and low for a tire that would perform as well as the BFGoodrich AT's. I finally find them, the Cooper Zeon LTZ. You can get sucked in like all the others that follow the herd, or you can get with something that works better, for less money. A real no-brainer!!! I have a two wheel drive Chevy Suburban, with a locking rearend, no trouble through moderate mud or sand. I have towed travel trailers and utility trailers loaded with four wheelers through some pretty tough terrain, no problem!! The tires work exceptionally well on the pavement as well. Not much road noise, and if you have any kind of exhaust system, you probably won't her them at all. Wet pavement, not an issue. I do live in the south, so as far as snow goes, not much happening in this area. All in all,, best tire I have come across in a long while. Hope this helps some of ya'll make right decision.

I replaced the factory tires on my Ram with these Cooper LTZ All Terrains. I am definately satisfied with them, although no tire is perfect in all conditions. The tires are suprisingly good off road, in rock, and in moderate sticky conditions they perform great - almost perfect. Pulling out on wet roads the tires will spin almost inevitabely every time, but I wouldn't say it's terrible. It is better than some, not as good as the best in wet conditions. In dry weather, this tire hooks up perfectly foot to the floor, and I get no spin on takeoff in my v8 - that's saying something. The most impressive feature is the snow and ice hookup I have experienced with the tires. I literally could not get the truck to spin tires in snow and ice in 4wd. I tried hard to spin them and I could not. I have owned tons of tires, these are super perfect in slick conditions - nothing better - awesome in snow and ice. I cannot stress that enough.

It was difficult to find an agressive off road tire for a 19" wheel and I didn't want to spend more money on new wheels. I read about these tires on a Land Rover forum and the comments were great, well they weren't wrong! I've always run at least BFGoodrich AT's on my trucks and these perform better with less road noise. I've been in snow and deep mud, they self clean and have outstanding traction. I've been keeping a close watch for any wear and after 2500 miles there is none noticeable. I love these tires!

Tried to find these locally but had no luck so I found them on Tread Depot. The price was right and they shipped quickly and actually beat the wheels by a week. Had them installed and I can't say enough about how much better these tires handle and ride compared to the 22 street tires I had on. They are actually much quieter and I like the more aggressive look.

Handles great in deep snow with excellent traction during both acceleration and braking. Deep aggressive tread provides great grip in mud and snow. Excellent handling on dry and wet pavement. Do not notice any louder road noise compared to stock. Low profile with strong sidewalls provide good cornering capabilities. I am very happy with performance in mild and cold weather which saves me from swapping to snow tires in the winter. Tires look as good as they perform. Great tires from Cooper and great sales experience with Tread Depot! Thanks.

These tires are awesome! They are the best off-road, more aggressive tread that I could find for my 19 inch LR3 wheels for the money. I like them better than the Goodyear MTRs that I had on it last. They have little to no road noise. The process was very easy and they were at my door in a couple of days. No brainer!

Great looking tire. Rides great too. Shipping was really fast. I put off buying these because I didn't want a 40 profile tire in an a/t. But they don't look as thin as I thought they would, and the ride is just fine. Only down side was that the 305/40 is much wider than a 305/45. There is a little rubbing. So far I am very happy with these.

I've only had these tires for a few weeks but love the improvement over the factory Wranglers, especially around corners in wet conditions. Previous tires quickly lost grip and slid out of turning radius, now my truck feels planted with much more sidewall support. The reviews sold me and can't wait to see the off road and snow condition capabilities. Highway tire noise is nothing to even comment on, being just as quiet as any all weather tire but much more capable.

There are not currently many all terrain tires available in the 255/55R19 size so I was very pleased to find these. I haven't driven them enough to comment much, other than to say the road noise is negligible and they handle well on the road. It's the dry season here so I haven't gotten them out in the mud yet, but they are fine on dirt and rocks and seem to take a beating.

I have had my Zeons going on 2yrs now, and they are just about worn out. I have over 37000 miles on them. I have to say they are hands down better than Goodyear HPs in the snow and rain. The tires have minimal road noise. I had these tire recommended to me by a good friend and will never go back. Not to wave the "AMERICAN FLAG" but they are made in my neighboring state which helps their local economy I'm sure. My inspection runs out in august and I will be buying another set. My only advise like with any tire make sure to rotate and keep the right psi of air in the tire and you will get the full life from the tires. Just do, you won't be sorry!

I've had my truck since new and wore out the factory Goodyear's after 40,000 miles. When purchased, I noticed the improvement in handling in all weather conditions and they are just as quiet as the originals. They've been in torrential rain, sleet, and snow conditions and have never let me down. These tires even work good in the mud! They are also made in the USA which is important to me. I have a heavy right foot and with the HEMI...well, lets just say I'm not gentle with tires. I am currently looking to replace them after 57,000 miles and will definitely be purchasing another set.

I just replaced all four of my Nitto Mud Grapplers with Cooper Zeon LTZ's and love them. I can't believe I didn't replace them over a year ago. The Nitto Mud Grapplers look good but were a rough ride, loud, and are not meant for everyday driving. On the other hand the Cooper Zeon LTZ drive smooth, are quiet, and I can drive my truck everyday with no problems. I highly recommend the Cooper Zeon's over any other Mud tires.

Replaced stock tires on 07 Tundra with the Zeons LTZ's and upgraded to 20 inch rims. My wife drives the truck during the week with no complaints of road noise or overwhelming truck feel. Traction in snow has been very impressive. Last year ended up pulling two separate minivans with attached two place sled trailers up to cabin over steep terrain. Tires never lost their grip. treed wear is still very good with over 20000 miles.

I have been a Cooper fan for several years now. I have had the Discoverer ST and STT's on my '99 Silverado. Both of them are great tires...I wanted a different look for my new GMC Sierra. I have not been disappointed! My truck came with the Bridgestone Dueler AT and I was not very impressed with that tire. They look generic and like they wouldn't stand up very well in the winter months here in Illinois. I liked the look of the Zeon's and after much research, I purchased them. I only had 500 mi on the Dorkers so I got a good trade in deal. They are just as quiet as the original tire and handle well. I can't comment on the wear yet, but if they are anything like the rest of the Cooper's I have owned, they should last for a long time. Since leverling the front end, I have had many comments on my truck and tires...way to go Cooper!

These tires are awesome. I wish I could work for Cooper as a product managaer, just to promote these tires. I have 24s on my truck, and even with the low profile tires, I feel the strength, durability and traction of these tires. It makes the truck feel like a tank. The corner of the tire near the sidewall has thick rubber lugs for possible off road traction, which is not only great for snow, but it makes the tire stonger and better planted. I do not notice any loss of sports handling, though there may be, but I can fling the truck around just like i used to. Smooth, no vibration, a little road noise but it sounds mean to me... also I have 15000 miles on them and i can barely detect any wear. 520 treadwear rating and hard rubber... I havent picked up ANY nails yet... I will buy these as long as they make them.

Going on a year now with the tires, just completed my first rotation. Tire wear is minimum and I have no doubt that these tires will go well over 30k before I start noticing wear. They perform great off road and in the mud. On the highway road noise is minimum. However, they seem to be getting louder with age. I will always run the coopers on my truck.

The title says it all!

Fit: They rub just the slightest bit at full lock - which you should avoid any way.
Looks: Tough!
Ride: On the pavement the ride is smooth, and the grip is great, wet or dry - so much better than the stock tires. I was amazed at how quite they are - no one believes how quiet they are (relatively) until i take them for a ride. And off-road - WOW!!! They stick like glue in every surface I have put them on - clay, mud, boulders, fallen trees and leaves, snow and ice... incredible.

After owning a number of satisfactory tires, I purchased these. WOW is what I will start with. These are better in every way than every tire I have has on an SUV. I live where is snow, rains, hails, slushes, freezes and the wind blows. And then the next day it might be sunny. These tires have excellent traction, wonderful handling, smooth ride, and I can now hear my kids talking to me from the back seat when i'm doing 70+ down the highway. These are the perfect SUV tire. To top it all off, they look great too. I have found the tire I will purchase over and over again. These mounted to a set of Black Rhino Rockwells (made by TSW) which are a very good quality also.

After countless hours of research, I recently replaced my stock Good-fora-Year LS-2 and I decided to go with a hybrid performance/AT tire and chose the Cooper Zeon LTZ over a very similar Nitto TerraGrappler. While the Nitto is a great tire as well, my choice was due to the LTZ having a bit more aggressive of a tread pattern, I've read nothing but excellent reviews about the LTZ concerning all-weather-grip/cornering/tread-life/ride quality/ect., and not to mention the fact that the LTZ was a bit cheaper didn't hurt things either. So far I am very impressed with the wet/dry traction and the smoothness/quietness of the ride. I cant wait to take them to the snow to test the claims of easily taming snow, mud, and sand. They look and feel like they should be able to handle it!

I have ran several sets of tires on this truck average a set every year and a half. I got the LTZ's not long after they were available. This tire is awesome. Excellent dry traction, wet roads do not phase it. A 6" puddle of water at 65 mph truck stays on the road with not even a wiggle. Excellent traction in the snow and deep sticky mud isn't a problem either. Had it buried to the middle of the wheels on all four in 2wd put it in 4lo and it climbed right out without sligging alot of mud. They clean out quick and provide an excellent ride with little to no road noise. They provide a more stable and smoother ride than the Michelin LTX's I had in the same size. I have found the ultimate tire for my aggressive driving style that suits me well. I would recommend this tire to anyone who wants an excellent stable ride but can handle any terrain you throw at it!!

I did my homework on tires for 6 months and decided on these tires. I pull a boat, drive off-road, and the ocasional trip in the corn field deer hunting.

I bought them in October and they performed well in the rain. We just got hit with a nasty snow storm this weekend and again performed great in the ice and snow. I even drove out in a snow covered corn field without any problem. Before with the stock Goodyear HP"s, my trucks rear end would slide out in wet weather, now I just go.

Road noise is very quiet for the aggressive nature of tire and they also corner much better than the stock one's.

Save your money and get these tires. I ended up getting them at Tire Barn for $800.00 out the door with a 3 year 36,000 mile full replacement warranty with free nitrogen and rotating. Get written estimates from competitors and get your best deal.

I see much debate between the BF Gooodrich A/T's and the Cooper Zeons. I went from the Bf Goodrich's to these and HANDS DOWN THEY ARE THE BETTER CHOICE. The soft rubber allows great handling on normal pavement, Rain they're great, no hydroplaining, snow... well I don't want to spoil it for you, buy them and have your buddies try to follow you. Trails the same. All and all I will never buy the BF Goodrich A/T's as long as they keep making this tire. I'd say its the most aggressive and meanest A/T tire on the market. Especially for the price!

I switched tire size on my Ford Edge Limited from factory Pirelli 245/50/20 to Cooper LTZ 275/50/20 and can tell you that this tire has been through 12+ inches of snow, complete black ice, deep mud with sharp stones, and anything else you can think of. traction was unbelievable through the deep snow and driving on roads closed because of ice was like driving on dry roads, as a matter of fact I did everything possible to try and slip and slide and spin out and could not! I have had BFGeewiz, Goodforayear, Failurestone, Yokobama, Perragly, Michegone and lastly Mickeymousethems and can only say don't be a fool save your lunch money and buy a set of Coopers you'll be top dog and glad you did!

They make no noise and look aggressive. I recommend this tire to anyone.

I just had the Cooper Zeon's installed on my truck last week! I have to admit I was a little bit worried about the on road handling, just because my truck has had the road manners of a car since it was new. The tires handle Great! There is no "loose" feeling when cornering hard, and the road noise is minimal. They are as quiet as my old Goodyear Eagle's up to about 55, after 55 there is some tire noise, but still hardly noticeable, They work good in soft terrain too! I go fishing at a spot where the boat ramp is dirt, and steep. It used to be a challenge pulling the boat out, but not a problem with the new tires! All in all, these are awesome tires hopefully the wear is as just as good as the rest of the tire!

I am not an off-roader but it seems like it on these Oklahoma roads. Had Michelins as the OEM tire (E rated) and they gave great treadwear. But the ride; it was rough as a woodhauler's rear end. I put Cooper CS4 touring tires on my wife's Odyssey (again replacing Michelins) and then went on to change the tires in my rig. Now I don't have to go to the Dentist. For an E-rated tire, smooth as glass and great pushing through 11" of snow. Love these tires!

I purchased these tires on the advice of a friend and I don't have any regrets. We go down on the beach at the Padre Island National Seashore and these tires power through the sand where another friends identical truck with Goodyears gets stuck constantly. I have also had these out in some pretty serious mud/muck in Louisianna with no problems. I am not afraid to take my truck into some nasty places where I wouldn't even have thought about going with my stock Pirellis. I went with the stock size because I didn't want to go through the process of lifting the truck and destroying my towing capability. I have seen some of the reports of excessive tire wear, but I don't see any of that myself. I started with 14/32 depth new and have 12/32 after 15000 miles of insane driving in a coastal town with a lot of sand on the roads and many trips down the beach in deep sand. For the price you can not beat these tires.

I couldn't ignore the opprotunity to share my opinion about these great tires. Road noise is nominal and no worse than the stock Goodyears. Traction is exceptional on wet roads with an empty bed. Have not had them through any snow yet and only have about 3000 miles to date so I'm not sure about tread life. They have a stiffer, sure-footed ride and aggressive styling that compliment the Ram. I drive very short distances to and from work everyday so they should last longer than the national average. I'm extremely pleased with COOPER TIRES MADE IN OHIO and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. And I will definately purchase them again.

I signed the contract on my new truck and pulled it around to the service bay and bolted on a set of wheels and tires. The Zeon LTZ's were chosen for looks at that time. After 25k miles, they still have about 5/32 tread deapth on them. I could probably get another 5k out of them but they are looking a bit rough. I drive hard and fast and they have held up amazingly under the weight of my truck. I will be replacing them with the same because I like the price, the look, the performance in all weather, and the lack of road noise.

You can't beat the price of these tires. These Coopers are nearly half the price of a comparable Goodforayear or BF Betterberich. These tires are also made here in Ohio. When you choose this tire you are supporting some of our hard working folks up in Findlay, Ohio. I just hope they make an LTZ tire that fits my wife's Jeep someday.

First, when I ordered my tires I called & talked to I think his name was Mike. He was very helpful & polite. He found the closest location to my city so they would get to me as fast as possible. They came to my door in only a few days from when I ordered them. I do regret not getting the road hazard warranty on the tires though because I ran over a screw the other day. I took it out & put a fix-a-flat in the hole and it was fine after that. I still need to patch it. The (road hazard) warranty was offered to me but I turned it down. That was a mistake! Second, the tires are great so far. I've only had them for about 2000 miles. I haven't had any issues with them & I've gotten lots of compliments on them even for the short amount of time I've had them on. They grip pretty good on rainy days. I feel much safer driving in the rain since I've put them on. Specs say that they're not the best tire for wet roads but from my experience I think they deserve more credit. The rim protection works too. The service was great & I'm loving my new tires. I'd definitely buy from Treaddepot again & so far I would get these tires again. I hope they last as long as other people have mentioned them lasting.

These tires are great! Excellent wet/dry/off road traction. Can't wait to get some snow and test that out. I would definitely buy them again. Tread wear is great. NO detectable road noise. Only reason for not giving the tires 5 stars is that you'll wanna invest in some mud flaps or fender flairs. The tread on these tires will pick up rocks, and fling them against your paint. But they're great, mean lookin' tires for sure.

Had some Cooper tires years ago and they left a great impression over all others I've owned. Thought I would try another set so studied the tech specs and read the reviews. Great tire on ice and in snow. Beats the OEM Pirelli Scorpions! a bit of a hum over 50mph but nothing bothersome so I can live with that. Look great and really contribute to the overall look of the truck without the overrated tractor-lug look. Appreciate the stability and confidence they give here in the Northwest in our recent storms. So far no problems with balance and steering. I am looking forward to many miles and good traction from this set of Cooper Zeon LTZs. Appreciate all the other reviews (good and not so good). Thanks.

Searched all over the 'net to find a tire worth spending $1,000+ on tires. I read tons of good ratings on these tires so I hopped on the bandwagon and bought them. First impression was HOLY COW! They look SICK! Deep lug pattern great tread design. I like how the tire over laps the edge of my rims so I dont have to worry to much about curb rash. They ride hard but for a LT 10ply it dosent bother me one bit. They handle great in the rain. Can't wait till winter so I can tell more folks what they are missing. I would definately buy again. Hopefully they'll have a 35" when I have to buy new rubbers.

I've looked for 2 years for tires for my truck. Couldn't decide, pure mud tire or an AT tire. I have read a lot of good reviews about these and finally pulled the trigger. When I saw them in person, I couldn't believe the tread depth. Way better than JokeYear's HP. No road noise, little stiff, that's what you get for a 10ply. Looking forward to testing them out in the snow this winter. If you own a Dodge and hate your stock 20" tires these are a great choice without going super nuts on a non-mudding truck.

These tires are quiet and seem to provide similar ride and handling characteristics to the OEM Conti Cross Contact - which is surprising given the aggressive tread. The 45 sidewall fits fine - no rubbing. I'm sure the tires will be a big improvement off-road - the big question will be how they do in snow. I'll save the last star in the rating once I see how they handle colorado winters.

So Far So Good Follow Up

I wrote a review back in 2011, "So Far So Good By Chip from Delran NJ on 12/30/11' and this is my follow up; I now have over 35000 and have had some small issues. Over time, I have had to play with balancing and air pressure to fight of some rougher highway drives than I would have cared for. With these tires, you MUST not fall behind on your balancing and rotations, you get 5k-7k smooth riding before they get rough between rotations. Also, the max psi is 80, so I used to run 60psi, but found smoothest ride is between 45 & 50psi. As for mileage, I do have some wear now, but I still feel I can still get another 10-15K out of them before they are due to be changed. I still give them a solid 4 stars, even though you need to keep tabs on the maintenance. I hope this review helps, Thanks

Overall I like the tires. Fairly quiet on the road (for a AT type tire), and handle well. I am a little shocked at the people getting 60k+ miles out of there's. I have a little over 25K on mine, and noticed that I may get another 10K before needing to replace 2. I will admit that I haven't been on top of rotating them regularly, so that has to be taken into consideration.

I have these on my 4x4 Mark LT. These have been pretty good tires. I bought 4 tires and about 3 weeks later one of them sprung a leak right on the side wall. I got the tire off and inspected it and the hole was a perfect circle. It appears there was an air bubble in it during the manufacturing process that caused it to tear open from the inside so I had to buy a new tire.

Overall these tires perform well off-road and on the street. They don't like deep snow much but most tires don't. They have a slight "hum" to them on the street but not annoying. I have over 5k miles on them and the tread still looks new. I would most likely buy these tires again and recommend them to friends.

So far, so good with these tires. They look good, are somewhat quit for all terrains, and have great traction. I am a little worried about how long the tread is going to last. I've heard of these tires going as long as 35k-40k miles but I'm not so sure anymore. I've put 2,100 miles on mine and the tread depth measures 11.3mm, they did measure 14mm when new. The math isn't pretty. So we'll see..... I'll post again further down the road with new measurements. All in all though, I do like these tires.

I took these tires off today in preparation for another Maine winter. I put exactly 31,289 miles on these tires rotating every 5K miles. They are far better than the stock Goodyears that came with the truck. Shortly after installation, I noticed some of the lugs had ripped off on two of the brand new tires. Why is still a mystery to this day. I very seldom spin the tires. These tires look great and have low road noise, but I expected another 20K miles out of them. Replaced them with Firestone Destination A/Ts.

These tires wear fast, and for an A/T they are not so good. This is the worst tire I have ever driven on in the snow, and when it comes time to go off road they clog up and stay clogged. As long as the surface is dry they work well but, when the dirt turns to mud they lose all grip. As far as road manners go, I haven't had a problem yet but, with about 30,000 miles on them I am at the wear bars and wont pass inspection. The tire looks great and thats about it.

I have had these tires for 6,000 miles now and I am not impressed. I have had the S/T and STT on my trucks and the ATR on my wifes Durango. I love Cooper tires and will not buy any other brand, but I hate these tires. I have to put my truck in 4wd in grass. I park in the same spot I always have in my yard and these are the first tires I had to put it in 4wd (on a slope). My biggest complaint is that they hold every rock I drive across! I could drive on the interstate for two hours and there are still rocks in the tread, plus all the ones they threw off the side of my truck. Like I said I swear by cooper tires, but after 6000 miles I am getting rid of the zeon's and going back to the s/t. Noise and tread wear they are equal to the zeon with way better traction and they don't hold rocks half as bad.

I've Been a Cooper tire fan for many years. Every vehicle ended up with coopers but these have to be their worst effort yet. Expected a slight increase in noise, but ended up with a noisy tire at all speeds, terrible wet weather traction, and shakes/bounces that were never there with the BF's. Many trips to multiple shops, still cant balance them. Overnight and chilly, count on a morning of flat spots for the first 2 - 3 miles? I could understand if it was, you know, very cold. But at 48F I don't think any tire should set up overnight (and yeah, my tire pressure is correct for the temperature). Simply put, maybe the 20" low profiles are great with a nice tight tread pattern but I've got grooves that does pick up 1" gravel - these are advertsied as a cross use tire.

If you are just looking to add an aggressive tread to your ride, then this might be it - but if you were just looking for some added all weather traction, there are probably better options.

I liked these tires when I first got them and really liked the price. The problem is 3 out of the 4 tires are starting to crack where the tread meets the sidewall, like what happened to the Firestone tires. Cooper says they will not replace them because I did not get the road hazard with them. I feel it is a manufacture defect not a road hazard issue. I have never needed a road hazard warranty with any other all-terrain tires I have had before (BFG's, Swamper's and Nitto). It looks like I will be going back to one of them.

Being 20" rims, replacing with the factory goodyears, which were car tires getting stuck in wet grass, was not an option. Not to mention the thousand bucks they cost. Bought these tires on the looks and cost. Traction wise they did good off-road, and rode rather well on the road. The tire wear on the other hand, 35,000 miles and cords are showing. I will not be replacing these soft rubber, flat lugged, cheap overated pieces of junk. I will be going back to the tride and true tested and approved WILD COUNTRY RVTs. I suppose if your truck never leaves town to venture out to put miles on them the look pretty and are quite, but lets be honest, in todays economy if the loudest set of tires ever made gets me 60K miles and digs, slap 'em on.

I read all the reviews and then had the dealer order these tires for me. Well after 8 trips back to the dealer to rebalance them and one tire that was out of round I finally got use of my truck. At 11,0000 miles a tire blew out. It simply separated at the glue joint between the the tread and sidewall, leaving a smooth overlap where it was glued. To make things worse they gave me next to nothing for an adjustment. Cooper tires are now on my "do not buy" list.
