The RS3-A is the latest ultra high performance all-season tire within the Cooper performance family. The RS3A provides the driver with dynamic handling that inspires confidence and control in all seasons.

  • Advanced Technology Mold Profile: Advanced technology mold profile provides for a square tread footprint which means more tread-to-road contact.
  • 3-D Micro-Gauge Siping: 3-D micro-gauge siping increases tread element stability, improves handling and tire control, while reducing the possibility of stone retention. 3-D dimple sipes with interlocking geometry provide more sipe depth without sacrificing tread element stability. The 3-D dimple sipes are used in the center, intermediate and shoulder elements and provide increased length and more road biting edges as the pattern wears for maximum wet and light snow traction.
  • Silica Formulated Tread Compound: The silica formulated tread compound is designed for exceptional all-season driving performance, without sacrificng treadlife.
  • Asymmetric Tread Design: The asymmetric design allows for tread pattern tuning. This design allows for cross-rotation which reduces heal-toe wear, promotes even wear, less noise and increased overall read life.
  • More rubber on the outboard tread pattern equals exceptional dry handling and traction. The large outside shoulder and intermediate tread elements increase handling, stability control and ultimate cornering ability.
  • The offset shoulder-to-intermediate grooves and large intermediate tread elements are joined together for stable cornering and noise reduction.
  • Laterally oriented shoulder grooves, uniform element geometry and chamfered edges resist irregular or rapid tread wear. The continuous, solid rib on the outside of the center row of tread elements increases steering response.
  • The inboard tread pattern is optimized for wet and light snow conditions. Two, wide circumferential grooves channel water away from the tire for hydroplane resistance. Even wear is achieved by the laterally oriented shoulder grooves and uniform elements. Winter traction performance is aided by the technical sweeping elliptical groove.

I just had these tires installed on my Mazda3 2.3L 5 door hatchback with 17" rims and they ride ultra silent and unbelievably smooth for a high performance "W" (up to 168mph) rated tire! The traction is amazing and cornering is a dream. Previously I had Avon Tech M550 tires which are owned/made by Cooper and I loved them and so now here is yet another winner from this Ohio based American company. This tire is tied for first place on Consumer Reports' 2011 buying guide for All Season Ultra High Performance Tire but the way I read it is that this is truly the best tire for the buck out right now based on performance, treadwear life, and price. And, once you ride on these, you won't go back. Get your hands on these before the price goes up or you'll be sorry you waited! Thank you Treadepot for a great tire at a great price and for carrying this quality American made brand! Goes to show that we can produce affordable yet superior products right here in the USA. I'm very happy with this purchase and you will be too! A+++

Coming from a pure summer tire (Goodyear F1)this was my best option. Read a lot of good things about this tire, so I decieded to get a set. The goodyears only gave me 9900 miles before they went bad. So far so good with the Coopers. They handle light snow well and in the dry they're pretty good. Most of all they are quiet! I will write more later after the first rotation.

I love these tires on our '91 Corvette. It gives it a much smoother, quieter ride. They perform well. It is a great tire for the money! Also, we paired them with American Racing Torq Thrust M Chrome Rims. It is a wonderful combination of tires and rims! I highly recommend locking lug nuts from Gorilla. They were delivered in the timeframe as promised. The tires were mounted, balanced, and ready to be put on.

I love these tires; they are quiet on the hwy and on city streets. I initially bought them because of the side profile and tread pattern. It has a very similar appearance to the Michelin Pilot sports. Overall, it is a nice riding tire and looks good.

I had purchased these tires to match existing tires on my vehicle. Right off the bat, I could tell this rubber was close to Michelin quality. I mounted them myself and they took very little weight. I've driven it every weekend for the past month and have not had one issue with the tire whatsoever. Tread Depot beats Tire Rack any day, in both price and quality.

I had Continental Contiprocontacts on my car and they were good tires. These are every bit as good, if not better in some categories. They drive in the wet, I mean really wet here in South Florida, like there isn't any water. They get great traction and they have great handling. The only difference I have been able to see is that they do not have as good of roll. I am getting a little less MPG, but I mean it is a very small fraction. The tires look good and they drive great. They are very smooth riding tires. I have the Cooper Zeon's on my Ford Expedition and have no complaints on them either.

I purchased these for my Passat Wagon after having them on my Jetta Sedan. These tires are perfect tires for dry and wet weather. I have not used them in the snow much so I can't comment on that. Both my Jetta and Wagon are set up for performance and these tires are a great compliment for this style of driving. I just finished a trip to Gatlinburg, TN and these tires did great in a downpour at 85 mph. These tires do not disappoint.

I have done alot of research on tires each time I've needed new ones. These Cooper Zeons are the best tires, hands down for the money spent. $99/tire in 225/50R17, AA traction and A Temp. Even if they cost $150/tire, they would still be after comparing specs to other tires and brands!! Consumer reports rated these a best buy in the ultra high performance all season class of tires, against other tires, which cost half the price per tire! Only 11% of tires produced recieve AA traction rating! And it shows when I drive with these. I live in MN, so we have the snow and ice to take into account too when selecting a tire. These performed great in the snow and very well on ice also, not just a good tire on dry pavement. I have had Michelin Defenders, BFGoodrich Touring TA, and Bridgestone Ecopias all on this Honda Odyssey and I like the Coopers the best. As far as traction, and cost. The other tires mentioned, none were bad tires. I just wanted to show my point of view from other tires I've owned. I like the Coopers the best and for the money it's not a hard desicion. These tires go through water and resist hydroplaning better than any tire I've driven on. They look really cool, sporty, are quiet and dry grip pushing through a corner which is hard enough for a high end sports car. Buy these tires if you are considering them, I can attest. You will have found a tire to buy over and over again without having to go through the research process each time tires are needed on one of the family cars. That's how good of a tire and deal the Zeon RS3-A is! I would put them on the Odyssey and plan on putting them on my Mazda RX7 this summer.

We are very satisfied with the COOPER RS3-A all season performance tires that have a 40,000 mile warrantee...we bought four ! Ordered on line thru TREADDEPOT they were delivered to us and installed here.. We saved enough money per tire ordering this way( along with a promotion at the time) to get ALL FOUR for about what it would have cost us locally to buy just two ! We had them installed at a NTB franchise (Nat. Tire and Battery) for $16.99 each (most other places were $25.00 ea. ) The tires are awesome. An immediate tracking difference that made it feel like a 4 wheel drive. We have had SNOW, and it tracks well, and actually seems to clear the tread of snow. The car is markedly "sure footed" and just as impressive as the Cooper tires that were on our BMW previously. It did not take the high recommendation of consumer reports to convince me of its impressive value , But they were RIGHT. It appears to be a wonderful tire with aggressive tread , and long wear potential, and I would recommend all of the above to anyone looking for a great tire and reliable sources.

After searching long and hard for a winter tire in the 225/50/18 size I was unable to find anything reasonably priced with the very few selections offered. I settled on the all terrain Cooper RS-3A and couldn't be happier with their performance in the snow and ice. Great tire for he price and will no doubtley last longer than a winter tread. I will be buying another set.

On my first review I had mentioned road noise and I had just replaced wheel bearings so thought it was the tires but new bearing was bad. Since fixed I hear nothing out of the tires. I live in rural mountain area with curvy roads everywhere. These tires excel in these conditions. It is by far the most fun all season tire I have ever had. The tires ride so smooth and on center as well. I upgraded to some high performance breaks to stop quicker and these tires stick when hit the pedal. In the rain they are almost perfect with great hydroplaning resistance. Did I mention they look amazing as well. The sidewall are smoother than most tires so tire dressings look amazing on them. I find it highly unlikely that I would buy any tire but the Cooper Zeon Rs3a now. Great performance, value and looks and cannot ask for anything more for the price. Thanks Cooper for a quality product at fair price and making my car feel like a whole new and sportier car to me.

Bought a 2014 Focus with the Cooper Zeon RS3-A tires and was extrememly pleased wtih thier performance and appearence. So I bought new Zeon RS3-A tires to replace the original Continental's, which were a real disappointment after only 35k miles. Historally I've considered myself a Goodyear man, but based on recent cost and performance, am now sold on Coopers.

These tires are amazing! My car is very stiff with it's suspension and chassis so driving over rough roads transmit tons of noise and vibration into the steering wheel and cabin. Since I've put these Coopers on my car rides so much better without sacrificing excellent road feel and handling. These tires are awesome in the rain, I can still drive somewhat aggressively while maintaining traction and safety. I'm very pleased with how much value I'm getting with these tires. Bottom line you will not get the performance, smoothness, grip, and quiet ride for the price with any other tire brand! These are value priced tires that yield extremely high performance!

First off I wanted to write this because of some reviews I see that are vague and look like maybe other tire companies hiring someone to write neg reviews. I left tire shop today and pulling out the parking lot I felt the difference. This tire feels great. The 6's have nice tight and sporty feel and this tire just compliments and takes it to the next level. My previous tire was Firestone and they didn't compare to the cooper. The tire is so sticky and cornering may be its best feature. I bought the tire due to reviews I saw and after a lot of research. I was down to general g max (saw at Walmart and sidewalls were weak), kumho 4x, kumho pa31 and the cooper zeon rs3-a. Like mentioned above I eliminated g max for soft sidewall, the pa31 because it was directional and rotation problems, kumho 4x sidewalls were not attractive. The Cooper just looks great on car and better feels amazing. The only downfall is there was some road noise but I am still in break in period and Mazda 6's are known to eat wheel bearings. I just replaced two but I had noise with old tires too so could very well be a 3rd gone bad. All I can say is try this tire and I will use this tire next application as well.

I had never tried Cooper tires before this set, and I bought the Zeons because I read good reviews about them, and they were relatively inexpensive. I wanted tires that were quiet, were good in rain and snow, and tires that wouldn't wear out quickly. These Coopers have exceeded my expectations in every way. They're quiet, handling improved, they are wearing very well, and they are great in rain and snow. They are quite possibly the best all-season tires I've ever owned. My car was horrible in the snow with my last set of Nexen tires. A light snow would leave me spinning my wheels or sliding, and they were completely unpredictable in rain too. After I got the Coopers, I have never been stuck. Even during the record snowfalls and blizzard conditions we had last winter, and driving on steep hills, they never left me stranded. They got me through snow that left 4wd vehicles stranded in the median and off to the side of the highway. Buy these tires. You won't be sorry. I thought enough of them to buy a set of Coopers for my wife's SUV, and she is happy with hers too.

I enjoy driving my 2008 MERCURY MILAN PREMIER (2.3L), my 10th car from new (=FORD FUSION) In retirement I travel mostly small city 20-30 mile runs w/400 mile RT once a month aggressively and just completed a 1200 mile 3 day trip w/500 miles at 29.9 mpg! at 70-80 mph. (23.5 mpg elsewhere). These tires are the best I've ever experienced, excellent in rain and firm in snow (still leaving a deep tread pattern last winter after 30000 miles);quiet too. CONSUMER REPORTS was right in 2011 when I bought these. Now at 35000 miles I am getting ready for a repeat order.

This set of tire was great for the cost and performed much better than I expected. I purchased them for my daughter's car. My biggest concern was wet weather driving as a result in my research the tires were given many high ratings for this category. I did not want to put 800-1000 dollars in a set of tires for a teen that is an ultra conservative driver. Many reviews indicated the tires handle very well. When I tested the limits, I was pleasantly surprised. A curve that normally only allows a maximum speed of 65mph was taken with confidence at 75mph. I looked for deep puddles to just to see if the car would hydroplane and it cut through the water like warm knife cutting through butter.

The only other tires I have owned in this category are the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's, which I had on both this car and a Chrysler Crossfire. Now I drive aggressively, but as I don't take my cars on the track I don't ever push the limits of these tires to their breaking points, but I can say that these Coopers, for about half the price of the Michelin's, probably have at least 95% of the grip. Something no one will notice in every day driving. Also, the Michelin's may last slightly longer, but again the price difference make them not worth it. My final comment is the Coopers are also quiter than the Michelin's and ride just as nice if not nicer. For the money you can't get a better UHP tire.

My 94 Camaro is set-up as a RS Z28. These tires are awesome in the curve and S curves. You can power up as your starting to come out of the S curves without the rear end coming around on you. In down pours, these tire shed water like it's not even there. Have pushed 80 mph in hard rain and no push into hydroplaning, even when changing lanes at this speed.

So I just had these tires installed and they are great. This winter has been extremely harsh but so far the tires are solid. Turning is on point, grip, traction has improved, and I'm so glad road noise and even those small shakes from stock tires are mostly gone. I travel highway 26 about twice a week which is long stretch from Seaside Oregon the coast to Portland Oregon to visit my girlfriend. That road is beautiful because it loops through the mountains and good tires are a must. It rains heavily in the NW and all season are a must but these tires are in a class of their own. They're also very aggressive looking and match the style of the new Scion which come stock with 18 rims - I love the look. I also got a really get a close examination and noticed the rubber is solid, strong and supportive with a nice tacky feeling. If you want great tires just stop and buy these, they're at a great price and I know I'm already planning on buying a second pair for my Audi A6 - that's my baby, only drive it summer, fall, and spring to many rocks during winter. Also found out they're stock on all BOSS mustangs so yeah they're legit. Hope this helps, yes I would buy them again in a heart beat.

After researching tires, I found the Cooper Zeons. I put these on my Kizashi to replace oe dunlops. It was a no brainer because of the price andI am a mechanic and installed them without spending a dime. Living in Northeast Pennsylvania you see all sorts of weather and I have to say I'm 100% satisfied these tires are great in rain, snow and dry conditions. Plus they corner and handle like riding a cloud of air, no noise whatsoever either. I never really review tires but these are so great I had to ensure others that they cannot go wrong with these Coopers.

I bought these tires for our old 98 Mercedes E class trying to get a good tire at a good price. These tires are awesome so far. They ride well, and the grip and steering response are great. Excellent in the rain also. I'll be buying more of these tires later for my wife's VW Jetta Tdi. Only very good things to say, except for one. After researching that Cooper is an American company based in Ohio, I thought they would be made in the USA, but after having to look at my tires very closely, they were stamped made in China. Maybe some of the other sizes are made somewhere else, who knows.

I put these Coopers on a Mustang to replace the OEM Pirelli's that had 18k on them. It is one of the best purchases I've made of late and could not be happier with them. The improvement in the ride, road noise and handling is just amazing. The Coopers are riding just as smooth as can be, are quiet and grip the road like nobody's business. Like many others, I did a lot of research looking for the best tires and price and it payed off with these tires. The late Paul Harvey spoke very highly of Cooper Tires, now I know why. You won't be disappointed!

Just had these tires installed and could not believe how great they perform for the price. A very budget prices tire that you would expect to pay way more for. Like I said, just had them installed so I do not know how they are going to wear, but even if I only get 20000 miles out of them, they were still well worth every bit of what I paid plus some. Very pleased!

Just had these tires installed. These guys had the best price, and the tires shipped and arrived in 2 days. Bought the tire based on other reviews. Tires are quiet and look better on the A-SPEC 18 inch wheels than the Continental DSW's they replaced. Expect good mileage as I have had with the Cooper CS4 i have on my Lexus LS. The Zeon RS3-A have a good all season tread pattern and look nice on the car. Will update after a few thousand miles.

These Tires are great. I had to old yokos in the front and two goodyear GT in the back and was in the market for new tires. I wanted to go with the Yokohama Avid Envigor because they were rated high but I saw a buy2 get 2 free promo for cooper zeon RS3-A and did my reasearch. These Tires got good ratings too. Ggot them installed and let me say the are AWESOME!!!! Handles great, braking has improved, no noise and they look great. Happy with my purchase and would buy again. Might look into going with the Cooper Zeon RS-S for the summer next year..

This is actually the second set of RS3-A tires I've purchased from TreadDepot - 1st set is ~1 Year on a Mitsubishi Eclipse GT (225/50-17) and this recent set of RS3-As (225/45-18) is on a Dodge Stratus R/T Coupe. These are basically the same car (identical suspension and engines) with the Dodge being a little bit bigger and heavier. Both cars are driven pretty hard and both cars handle fantastic on this tire on dry and wet roads. After a year, we really haven't noticed much wear at all and they have ~15k on them. The things we're really happy about is the strong side-wall, price, deep tread and quiet. This tire has breathed new handling life into these cars and I don't feel as though we've "sacrificed" anything at all for such a well priced tire.

I replaced the stock tires with these Cooper ZEON RS3-A at 30,000 miles. Stock tires were loud and ride was harsh. Cooper tires were recommended as being much better tire. These Coopers are MADE IN USA--this is stamped on the tire. My review: ride quality-much improved, road noise--low, handeling improved, fuel milage--simular (30 to 31 MPG). Value---would recommend these and purchase replacment tires from Cooper.

Living in Oregon you get used to the rain, it has rained a lot this year! I had no idea the stock tires on my 08 Chevy Malibu were so worn until I slid on the freeway in a heavy raining cat's and dog's downpour that scared the heck out of me. I could of replaced with the stock tires but after several reviews this tire was actually not rated very well, so I started my research. To make a long story short; this Cooper Zeon is GREAT! It holds the road in any weather, stopping distance is faster, the ride is smooth with little road noise. I usually don't write reviews, just read them, but I felt I must share my experience, you will not be disappointed with this tire. Awesome!

I had these tires put on 7000 miles ago, due largely to consumer reports recommendation. Original tires, Bridgestone Potenzas, wore out at 28000 miles. Coopers are much smoother, more quiet and seem to grip just fine. I had nitrogen put into the tires to replace the compressed air. I'm getting about 2 miles per gallon more. I hope to get close to 40000 miles on these tires. So far, Coopers are great - couldn't be happier.

I've only had these on my Mustang for about 1 week, but I'm already loving them! They were replacements for the Pirelli P Zero Nero's that came as original equipment on the car when I got it in 2011. I knew I didn't want the Pirelli's again, as they had worn out in only 28,000 miles. So I checked Consumer Reports and saw the Cooper Zeon listed as one of their top picks, and all the customer reviews were extremely positive so I decided to go with the Zeons. The handling is amazingly improved, road noise is gone and the ride is so much smoother. The car just has a much more "solid" feel. I found the tires and the best price on www.treadepot.com. I ordered on Friday and had the tires on Monday. Great, speedy service!

I am extremely pleased with these tires I took a trip from Dallas to San Antonio a week after putting them on I wasn't a bit stressed when I drove through hard rain for about 150 miles the tires never hydroplaned even when changing lanes at about 80mph. I have taken some sharp turns at higher than normal speeds to check the grip you can feel the these tires bite when you would think the back end should slide around on you. Straight line acceleration grip is better than any street tires I've used before even with ASR turned off in my LS1 Camaro. For ex: I could light my previous BFG G-force sports up easily from a dead roll and hit my rev limiter these Coopers not so easily they will break loose for about 15' but after that all traction have never had my car hit the rev limiter with wheel spin with the Cooper RS3-A. The quality and price of these tires is great they look good on my car as well. Well worth the money

Excellent tire. Drove across country from Arkansas to Arizona in these tires shortly after purchase & they did very well. They grip better than any tire i've used on my Mustang. They never lose traction, are very quite and have improved my highway gas mileage by a little more than a mile per gallon. I would definitely recommend these tires to others looking for a sporty, performance based, all-season tire. I've taken them out even in the rain a few times & turned the traction control off to test them out & they did very well. I've already recommended them to a friend who has the same size tire on his 2006 Pontiac GTO. Also I got my rebate card from Cooper within the time frame they said I should expect to. I was very pleased. I recommend purchasing these new tires while they're new to the market & the price is low.

I am not an expert but this tire feels more like the original Goodyear Eagles than the Toyos I just took off. IMHO the sidewalls seem stiffer making it grip better on turns. Holds the road good and good feel through the steering wheel. I have not yet driven these in the rain. No noisier than the Eagles and Toyos. Good traction on aggressive acceleration.

I bought these tires after seeing the Consumer Reports review and several positive on-line comments. They are a vast improvement over the stock tires-- Bridgestone Potenzas--that came with my GTI. The Bridgestone's were extremely noisy and somewhat rough riding. The Coopers are smooth, quiet and seem to have as good a grip as the Bridgestones which were summer performance tires. These tires have transformed my GTI I have not driven them in snow but they seem to do well in slippery conditions.

Overall, the ride is smooth and quiet. I purchased this tire to replace Goodyear Assurance Tripletred which only last for 35,000 miles. The Cooper is very quite and sticky. I came off an interstate ramp that merges to another highway and kept my speed at 60+ (previously I had to slow to 50 to avoid lane drifting). I have always been a fan of Cooper. Get this tire, you will not regret it. I will review again after 10,000 miles.

I've only had these tires for a week but so far they seem great. The ride is much smoother than the original Bridgestone 760 sports, which is something I was certainly hoping for. The handling is very good but not quite as good as the Bridgestones, which were a summer tire. I only got about 25,000 miles out of the Bridgestones, which had a 340AA rating, but I'm hoping for much more out of the Coopers as they're 500AAA rated. Time will tell. I always try to buy American made products whenever possible and I thought I was with these. Unfortunately, stamped on the sidewall is that all too familiar phrase, "Made in China". I thought the pricing and service from Treadepot was great. Ordered them Wednesday night, had them Monday via UPS.

So far overall, the tires have been great. The car handles better than it ever did with the factory Goodyears. They are great on dry and wet pavement. I can't tell about snow yet, but with the tread pattern it should do pretty good. I am disappointed they are made in China, but after the reviews and consumer reports I read I decided to buy anyways. I've been through a set of Goodyear RS-A's and a set of the B.F. Goodrich Comp 2's. Now it's time to try the Cooper Zeon RS3-A's. So far, I'm very, very happy with the ride, comfort, low noise, and the overall look of the tire on my SRT-8 Charger. The factory supplied Goodyears were OK, but they rode like rocks after awhile. They also had noise build up as they wore down. The B.F. Goodrich Comp 2's are very popular with the Dodge Challenger/Charger/Magnum crowd these days and it's a decent tire. The only drawback I found was its 24,000 mile life and they are dangerous in wet conditions as they start to reach half-life. The Cooper RS3-A actually ride better than the other tires mentioned and I commute 68 miles per day to work, so I'm aware of the difference. The only reason I did not give the Coopers 5-stars upfront, was for transient steering response. They have a softer sidewall than the Goodyear or B.F. Goodrich. This means they wiggle when you do quick directional changes on the highway. If you are looking for razor-sharp turn-in response, do not put these Coopers on your car. They grip like glue in the dry and wet, but they need a 1/2 second response time from steering input to take a set stance and bite down. Of course, this is not to say that these Cooper Tires wouldn't work better on steering response with some other vehicle, I'm coming from purely my Dodge SRT-8 standpoint. I think they are a fantastic price for a quality replacement tire and they suit my daily commuting needs perfectly. If I can get anywhere near the wear rating of 40,000 miles out of these, I'm hooked for life.

I've had these tires on my 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT for a year and a half now and really like them. 255/35/19 front and 275/40/19 rear. They are quiet, and ride very smooth and have great tread life. Coming from Continental EXtreme Contact DWS, these are just as quiet and smooth with better tread wear, but not quite as grippy. The Conti DWSs also did a little better in the wet concerning hydroplane resistance but they went up on price so much I needed to find a good alternative. The RS-3s do a great job considering they are almost $75 less per tire. I will definitely buy again... great quality tire at an unbeatable price. You have to ask yourself is another tire that is marginally better in 1 or 2 performance areas worth $300 more for the set. It's about what's important to you and and your personal preference. For me and my daily driver, a combination of price and performance with emphasis on price with a little on the way.

I bought these new Cooper tires as a replacement for Continental Extreme Contact. Both brands offered a quiet smooth ride; however the Cooper tires grip the road better and corner better. Overall this has been a good tire in replacement of the OEM Goodyear's. Tread life has been as long or slightly longer than the Goodyear - I've been able to get over 50K on either tires, but tend to push them past when they should be changed. On the plus side, wider tread width on cooper's seems to help in heavy rain - on the negative side, a slightly higher sidewall takes away cornering - however in normal driving, I don't think either of these would be noticed by most people. With the miles I drive, just wished both would last longer.

I ordered these just in time for the cold temperatures here in Georgia to replace the factory Goodyear Eagle F1's on my ST. So far they have been excellent. Good dry and wet grip, very predictable handling with no wheel hop under power. I got 18K miles out of the Goodyear's, so hopefully I'll get twice that from these. So far, the price/performance ratio is spot on.

These tires have totally transformed the ride quality of my wife' s car. The aging Michelin HXMXMV tires were starting to drone and rode rough, but still had some tread. The new Coopers are much quieter and seem to grip the road very well. The car feels much more planted in city driving and is very quiet on the highway. I would have given these tires a 5 star rating, but the milage warranty is lower than I would like. Time will tell on the tread life. Can't beat the price for a made in the USA tire.

Can't comment on driving in snow, as we haven't had any this year. But so far, drive great dry or wet, look good, and no excessive road noise.

Not really enough miles to do a credible review, but I drive 52 miles round trip every day over dirt/gravel, broken pavement, highway and urban streets, so the tires have been through a good testing course a number of times, in warm, cold, rain, and recently light snow. No complaints; the tires have handled every condition very well under a modified GT/track pack platform that I drive with spirit sometimes. The only issue I've seen is a small drop in directional precision compared to my summer performance tires, but it is not fair to compare all-season performance tires to sticky tires specifically made for warm weather track and autocross in this regard. I recommend the Coopers without reservation thus far.

These Coopers were (relatively) dirt cheap compared to the Pirellis and Michellins my dealer tried to sell me on. The tires have a little more bounce to them, so my ride is now smoother/softer, but also more agile. Minimal road noise, which is nice. Would recommend.

I spent many hours researching the first set of tires for my new Mustang before I pulled the trigger on these Coopers. I wasn't impressed at all by the Pirelli P-Zero Neros that came with the car (Pony Package 235/50/18s). The OE Pirellis were totally shot at 28k, and honestly they probably should have been replaced at 26k. These RS3-As really transformed the car for me. My driving style consists of mainly highway on my long commute, and then a few miles of curvy back roads near my home. I wanted something quiet and comfortable, but also something semi-sticky that could hang on in the corners. I'm completely amazed by these tires. In the 2k miles I've had them, I have experienced everything from 2" of snow, torrential downpours, and nice 70F hot pavement, and these tires have blown me away in every scenario. They are super sticky when the road is hot, and I'm able to toss the car into corners where the OE Pirellis would have sent me into a ditch. I'm really impressed with how these fixed the understeer problems with my car. These Coopers also really impressed me in the rain. At 80MPH in heavy rain and standing water they didn't bat an eye. Even in light snow, they were able to get enough grip that I wasn't concerned about making it home. As far as downfalls go I don't have much to say. I can't speak for the treadwear just yet, but I will be sure to update about 20k miles in. My only complaint (if you can even call it that), is that these tires do develop flat spots after sitting for 10-12 hours. They ride a little rough for the first mile until they soften up, then they're perfect. This is an acceptable trade-off to me for the amount of performance per dollar. Overall, I can't say enough good things about these tires. I was dead set on buying a set of Continental DWS for my car before, but I managed to save $200 by going with these Coopers instead of the Contis. As of today I have around 2k miles on these RS3-As and they look brand new. The sidewalls don't go brown as quickly as other tires also. In my honest opinion, these are the best tires available for the money. I am supremely impressed with the work done by Cooper, and they have made a customer for life out of me. If you're on the fence about what to buy, bite the bullet and pick up a set of RS3-As.

As promised, I'm coming back to review how these tires perform in the snow. After driving in a mix of ice to 2-5" of snow, these tires did great. Never felt like I couldn't get traction or that I couldn't stop. These tires made a 420 horsepower RWD car simple to drive in the snow! I tried also stopping and starting on some slight inclines, and had no issues. I don't live in the snow belt, and don't expect to drive a Mustang through blizzards. I wanted a tire that had great dry performance, yet was capable enough to get me home in light to moderate snow. These tires are unbeatable for the price, I wouldn't even hesitate to buy again!

My Daytona Charger came with Eagle F-1 tires which were not designed for winter driving. So I purchased these tires to use for winter months here in NY. What I have found is these tires hold the road just as good, are quiet and will be able to handle the winter. Based on this I have now sold my Eagle F1's and will go with these as my year round tires. Steve

I bought these tires to replace the summer-only Pirelli's on my Brembo Mustang GT. I wanted a tire that gave me better tread life and could get me through some light snow if need be. My research led me to this tire and the Continental ExtremeContact DWS. The Continental is known to have great snow performance, but it is pricey and they did not carry my exact size. The first thing I noticed driving this tire is how much the ride improved over the summer Pirellis. It does have a softer sidewall, so there is a slight decrease in steering response (had no idea how stiff those Pirellis actually were) but the vast improvement in ride quality is worth that small sacrifice. Especially since the Mustang has adjustable steering effort, I just switched from Normal to Sport. Handling, braking, grip is actually very close to the summer tires. At the absolute limit they do give up a little sooner, I mean they're all-seasons after all. But I'd say they have 90-95% of the grip the summer tires have. I think the only place this would be a problem would be on the track, you'd really never notice the difference on the street. The Coopers are a little more forgiving at the limit. Because the Pirelli's were so stiff, when they give up at the limit, it's very sudden and sharp. The Coopers give up a little sooner, but they're more predictable and it's easier to get control back. Rain performance is good in the Coopers, but the Pirelli's were also very good in the rain. I have not had a chance to try these tires out in the snow (I will be back to review as soon as that happens), but it has gotten down to the 20s around here lately. In these low temps the Coopers have noticably more grip than the Pirellis in these temps. The Pirellis were not recommended to use below 40F, and you could definitely feel the loss of grip. Coopers are much more consistent temperature-wise. If you're like me and want an ultra-high-performance all-season that doesn't compromise dry-weather performance too much, but give you more practicality than summer-only tires provide, you can't go wrong with these tires. The price here was very good, had them shipped right to my installer so I didn't have to deal with transporting them.

I purchased these tires based on a collection of Internet reviews, and so far, while I haven't had them long (tread depot keeps urging me to review the tire, so here I am), so far I'm liking everything about the tire. The first thing I noticed about the tire is that the steering wheel is MUCH easier to turn while the car is stationary. An odd thing to mention for sure, but the difference was so extreme it made me think my front tires were resting on ice. Whether it is related or not, the road feel seems to be a bit less from these tires. I like a LOT of road feel, so that's why I dropped the half star. Other than that, the dry and wet grip seem to be excellent, ride comfort is MUCH better than the previous tires (Falken Ziex), and the price it right. I'd almost give them another half star for the cool factor of having tires called "Cooper" on a car named "Cooper".

Up 'til now I have had only the OEM tires on my Miata. Michelin Pilot AS Something. They handled great but my gosh you could feel every crack in the road. The Cooper's ride a lot nicer. They aren't as tight as the Michelin's but still grip quite well. I've got no complaint about how they handle. They are a good match for this car. I'm much happier with the smoother ride.

Overall I am very pleased with these tires. They are very smooth, quiet, and excellent in the wet and dry. I have not been able to drive on snow yet, but I would be surprised if they were better than average. The tread does not contain many biting edges that would promote good snow traction, but they certainly are quiet and corner beautifully.

The previous set of tires on my Mazdaspeed Protege were the Continental DWS series - an excellent all around tire. They've become so popular as of late that they're extremely difficult to find, not to mention more expensive than when I first got them several years ago. So after a lot of research, and a great recommendation from Andrew at Tread Depot, I decided to get the Cooper RS3-A. I've driven them in everything Wisconsin has to offer - snow, ice, heavy rain, and dry conditions - and am happy with all of it! I haven't tested their limits yet, but I've never heard them squeal in the twisties; they just stick. I also haven't had them hydroplane in heavy rain - definitely a plus in my book. In light snow and ice, they perform admirably. They stick surprisingly well to the ice, and feel pretty good in light snow. But deep snow is so-so. As long as you're careful, they're fine, but you reach their limits rather quickly around sharp turns in town. The only downside I've found to them is that their turn in response isn't as quick as I'd like, although it's still good. That being said, I can't imagine you'll find an all-season UHP tire for under $100 that are better than these, not to mention quieter.

After a few months of driving in wet and dry roads with different pavement quality I thought it was a good time to write a review. The tire grip is tenacious, the handling is very precise, braking is superb, the ride is considerably quieter than it was with the OEM tires, fuel economy has not changed at all, and I really cannot see any sign of tread-wear after 2000+ miles on the tires. Still, I cannot believe how inexpensive these tires are compared to the other UHP all-season tires. If there is a "negative" to be reported it is the following: On roads where the surface has "ruts" from old age(sections of I-5 around Seattle are a prime example) the tires induce a small, but perceptible, oscillation on the steering wheel at highway speeds. As soon as the road deck quality changes, the car will track a straight line without my hands on the wheel and no oscillations in the steering wheel.

Overall, it is hard to ask for much more out of an all season performance tire. My car is somewhat heavy, so I can feel the tires roll a little bit. But it is easy to feel the level of grip you have. The harder you push them the more they seem to lock tread and stick to the road. If you really push it and start to slip, the tire seems to recover quickly. Driven in hot, cold, rain, and snow... overall solid tire. Hope they last a while!

I have been running Pirelli tires on this car and the car drove like a freight train on a gravel road. These guys recommended the COOPER ZEON RS3-A based on the car and my driving habits. Not only is it a reasonably priced tire the car drives like a completely different vehicle. I have only put a few hundred miles the car tire is very quiet, smooths out the bumps better and handles great. The tire may not be as "sporty" looking as the Pirelli's but who cares when the car handles and drives like it was originally meant too!!!!

Purchased this tire after reading several favorable reviews on this site and viewing the tire at a local store. Previous tire was Bridgestone, which I liked, but the Cooper's were less expensive. My impression so far is very favorable. Wet and dry traction are as good as it gets...equal to or better than the Bridgestone RE. Noise level is low, but slightly higher than the Bridgestone. They are wearing well and with periodic rotation I can see me getting 45-50,000 miles out of these. They are not a low rolling resistence tire and my MPG has gone down about one mile per gallon. Still, I am very happy with my purchase. These are good looking tires and I have had a number of favorable unsolicited comments about them. The service I recieved and the price was great!!!

After months of researching I decided on these to replace my Eagle GT's. I noticed instantly how much of a smoother ride these Coopers have versus the Eagle's. I also noticed that these do have a softer shoulder, though the tires stick like glue I can feel a VERY slight flex on hard turns (60+ mph on 30 mph curves). Ive been waiting for it to snow as Ohio (Dayton area) has been robbed this year for snow and finally I had about 2 inches this morning on my way to work. I take back country roads that are very proned to snow drifts and ice and of course the last to be plowed. I was extremely impressed with the grip. A couple times the tires would slip but would grab instantly. I drove a bit harder than I normaly do in snow just to see what these tires could handle. I am very impressed and glad I bought these. My wife has an 02 TL and is about to get a set of tires. Ive been waiting for some snow before I decided on whether or not they are good enough for her. Hence the reason for driving hard in the snow. I actually almost missed my turn into the Honda plant. Going about 40 I slammed on the brakes and cut the wheel to make turn. The car slipped for a second but I made the turn!! VERY IMPRESSED!! I truly put the tires to the test this morning and they past flawlessly. Granted it was only an inch or two but remember this is an all-season UHP tire not a snow tire! I normally cruise the highway at about 80 sometimes higher and I am so pleased with the smoothness (one time i was cruising at 95 and it felt like i was gliding, my wife even noticed and said no-way were doing 95) and how quiet these tires are. What rain we have had they seem to handle just as good as dry. It was a tough choice between the Coopers or the Conti's Extremecontact DWS. If you have an Acura TL I promise you will love these tires! I cant comment on other cars because every car is different. I also want to clear up other comments Ive seen before. Just because a car manufacture puts a certain tire on (OEM) doesnt mean that tire was made for that car. All it really means is that the car company has a contract with the tire company. In all actuality most of time your better off replacing the tires the minute you drive off lot. Will update later on life of tread.

The tires are quiet, grip well on dry pavement, yield slightly better milege than the General tires they replaced, and all four tires balanced with a minimum of tape wheel weights. They also look great with a semi-aggressive tread pattern. I have yet to drive in the rain or on snow, but the tread depth and design suggests they will do well for a low profile tire. Only time will reveal how they wear, but I am expecting 40000+ as these asymetrical tires can be rotated front to back and diagonally. These are hard to find in stock, but Tread Depot had them...very good service.

I mounted my new set of 4 RS3-A's on my Mustang GT just in time to make a round trip to Arkansas to visit family. They did well on the road trip & I was very pleased & impressed with traction & smooth, quiet ride from such a competitively priced tire. These tires come stock on the new year model Mustangs & have tested well so after some research I figured they'd be good for my older model Mustang. I've been very impressed so far. They've gotten much better grip then the previous Diamondback tires I had on prior & corner much better. The only reason I didn't give a complete 5 star rating is because the tires thus far aren't as easy to keep clean & shiny as previous tires I've had in the past & I keep getting rocks in the treads despite the supposed form & design technology that reduces rock retention. (I do live on a dirt/gravel road however). So far i'm very pleased & would definitely buy another set & recommend them to others.

This is a really good tire. It got the 2011 consumer reviews best tire. I had Hankook S1 Noble 2s (245/45/18), that were amazing as well. This tire feels a bit softer. They both handle great, but the Hankook can be pushed abit harder in the turns. The XWD on this car is a bit much for most tires. So far the wear is great, and the design is perfect. I went with a 45 vs 40 (recommended) tire, because I wanted the extra meat. So far, they've stood up to the NJ/NYC potholes.

I bought these tires after owning the Cooper CS4 Touring, which are excellent tires. I was looking for an all season, grippy tire for my Mustang. I read the reviews etc. but I didn't read Cooper's definition of this tire. As it is, the tire has a dual tread, where the inside half is for grip on wet surfaces and the outside is sort of smoother for dry pavement cornering. This may be a good idea for a front wheel drive sedan, but not too good for a Mustang or similar. So, in my view, this tire concept is for partial season driving, not all season. I'd prefer better grip in snow. However, that being said, the tire is flawless. It is quiet and does have better grip than the ones I had, even on dry roads. I wish all tires had a grip rating in the description, such as the speed rating. That way, the consumer could better decide.

There may have been a minor flat spot on one of the tires. This was noticeable around on and off ramps curves to/from highways and at slow road speeds. This condition appears to have dissipated/disappeared. I only gave the tires 4 stars for this reason and because I have only had them for 1 month/750 miles. They appear to handle better than the previous set, which were Cooper Zeon Sport A/S 94W. The new pair, CS5 Ultras, were placed on the front of the vehicle; I am still using the 1/2 life Zeon Sports on the back. I am very satisfied with the Cooper products. I have driven these on dry, wet and light snow road conditions. The handling is exceptional. I know, it's a 10 year old Jetta; But, it is a 2.8L VR6, Clutch with 50,000 miles, in garage kept, mint condition. It will move and brake, fast, when I want it or need it to do so.

My Focus ST came from the factory with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tires having a tread wear rating of 240. These were great in the summer and useless below 45 degree temps. I purchased the Cooper Zeon RS-A to improve the driveability of my ST in the winter months (It gets cold here in ATL, too) and I'm very happy as a result. They handle well, have responsive turn-in and best of all...no more wheel hop when I get on the gas. They have excellent dry and wet grip in cold temperatures. If ATL has another Snowpocalypse in early 2015, I'll be able to get to work! Tip for ST owners: If had to buy these again, I'd get them in a +0 or even a +1 size to match the aggressive look of the factory Eagle F1's they replaced.

Tires so far have performed as advertised. A bit noisy, but I knew that buying UTQG treadwear 500 will create more noise. Dry roads are perfect, wet roads 4 stars, have not driven in the snow yet.

I have already gone through a set of these tires already. Great tires! Have probably gotten close to 40K out of the first set. And I would have gotten more if my camber wasn't so terrible. I have aftermarket 18" wheels and these all season high performance tires are awesome. For the price they are quiet, and the performance in all weather conditions is very good. Have 0 complaints with these tires. Would recommend to anyone who can't afford more than 1 set of tires and still want a decent tires (high performance) in all seasons (including snow).

I was going to order another set of Kumho Ecsta 4X which I liked but the person I spoke with at Tread Depot said I would be even happier with the Coopers. So far after only a couple thousand miles they seem pretty good. Very quiet, very responsive, good in dry & wet conditions, maybe not quite as sharp looking as the Kumho's. Certainly for this price range I would recommend them, also they were chosen as a top pick on Consumer Reports. This is my second purchase with Tread Depot and the service and delivery speed is excellent.

Very happy with this tire so far. Very quiet, responsive and a great buy. Wet traction seems to be very good. I like the fact they're made in the USA.

Have driven these tires on rain and dry tracks and have to say the tires are as advertised. They run quiet and hold the corners well. They also look great on My Daytona Charger.

I upsized from the original 215/55R16 size to 235/45R17 with new wheels last month, so much of the change (good and bad) in how the car feels is due to the wider, low-profile size of the RS3-A I have now. I think these are very good tires, but - like many other performance tires - they develop flat spots when the car sits for more that half a day and the temperature is on the cool side. Because I live outside the city, I reach 50 mph (80 km/h) within a couple of minutes of leaving home in the morning, and the car shakes until the tires warm up. The severity of the vibration is directly related to how cold it gets overnight. I have had the tires re-balanced, and they still do the same thing so balancing was not the problem. This is the third set of tires on the car in less than 10,000 miles, after the original 16" all-season ContiProContact and 16" winter Nokian Hakkapeliitta R, and I did not have this problem with those tires, even in much colder temperatures. If you live in the city, you probably wouldn't notice this issue because the tires would be warmed up by the time you get over 45 mph. That being said, here is my summary of the tires' performance: PROS: Solid, planted feel - like an agile tank (on tracks instead of tires) Very little lean and pitching during cornering, braking and take-off (much of it probably due to going from 55 to 45 profile sidewalls) Very good ride comfort for the low profile - the ContiProContact felt like hard balloons in comparison, sending jolts throught the car on broken pavement Very quiet, without the rumbling and booming over expansion joints that I got from the Contis CONS: Flat-spotting overnight, as descibed above Road steer (i.e. car is pulled left or right by ruts or bumps, especially during braking) due to wider contact patch and stiff sidewalls, but this may be the case with any wider performance tire. Higher steering effort - again maybe due to increased width vs. original and "sticky" tread compound, but I have read that some performance tires still allow for light steering effort. Conclusion: if you like feeling "glued to the road" - AND you don't live close to the highway - then these may be just the perfect tires for you! : )

I JUST HAD TO REPLACE ONE TIRE DUE TO 2 PUNCTURES. THE CONTI DWS'S WERE MORE THAN HALF GONE AND REALLY NOISY FROM THE START. I DECIDED TO REPLACE ALL FOUR WITH THE COOPER ZEON AND SO FAR I COULD'NT BE MORE PLEASED. THE RIDE IS MUCH BETTER AND THE NOISE LEVEL HAS GONE DOWN A LOT. TURN IN IS A BIT SOFTER BUT THE GRIP IS THERE. I WENT FOR THE CONTI BASED ON REVIEWS THAT PROMISED MILEAGE AND PERFORMANCE. AT ONLY 20K THE TREAD WAS MORE THAN HALF GONE AND THE RIDE HARSH. I LIKE THE COOPERS MUCH BETTER SO FAR AND WILL UPDATE LATER.

First I thought they were manufactured in USA, but no. China. Tried to buy American. I just just had them mounted and drove highway and regular roads. Very nice, quieter than the OEM Yokohama's which will never touch a rim I own. Nor will Toyo's ever touch a rim I own. Overall very happy I will update at 10,000 miles. I hope it's positive depending on wear I would rate 5 stars but too early obviously.

I guess I had higher expectations with generally positive reviews of this tire. Compared to the OEM Dunlop tires that came on my wrx the Coopers are quite a bit louder on the highway. In addition, I have experienced flat spotting when the car sits for a day or so. Snow traction has been acceptable, but again was expecting them to be better. I suppose as with most all season tires they are a compromise tire and when they are the jack of all trade tires the result for me is they are the master of none.

I bought these tires to replace some tires that had worn and cupped in a way that made them super noisy. The noise was driving me crazy. This is a common problem on my vehicle and it has to do with the rear end being light. It also needs an alignment. I bought these tires hoping to adjust the alignment and get more miles out of them than the previous tires. After 500 miles, I could tell that my noise problems were not resolved. These are almost as loud as my severely cupped tires and these are brand new. They were humming and vibrating as I pulled out of the shop. One of the four tires was throwing a road force of 26 lbs, which was more than the shop could balance out. I had to order a replacement for that one.Fortunately, Tread Depot's customer service was great and they took care of the replacement with no problem. This tire is just not for me.

I went into the dealer with an idea of what I wanted. I didn't want to spend the money for new Run Flats since I am trading the car in, but I knew I wanted the Direzzas again or Potenza. The sales guy was really pushing Coopers hard (which were more expensive than the ones I wanted). I knew they had good reviews on performance but so do the others I wanted. I really didnt like the idea of buying Coopers to begin with and emphasized my hesitancy, but he was saying they were the greatest things since sliced bread. They also seemed to be the ONLY ones he could put on that day. I finally agreed to buy them, still with the thought I was making a mistake. Sure enough, after they were put on, my heart immediately sunk when I looked at them. They have big rounded edges that make them look like BIG BALLOONS!! Ugly! My Direzzas looked very aggressive and these things on my 550i look ridiculous.

Purchased these tires as a replacement for my toyo proxes, very unimpressed from the get go with the big made in china stamp on them, these tires are very loud and very rough. I am also unhappy with how they perform on wet pavement. Hopefully these tires wear good because thats all they will havegoing for them!!

I was thinking I purchased an awesome american made tire. Wrong, and wrong again. Made in China, these stupid things wasted $580, and I about wasted the car in the snow. Horrid in the slush, with a FWD car. They also wear like butter. The tires I took off were Goodyear Eagle GSA's worn even. These Chinese tires have way to soft of a tread compound. They were originally great in the rain, now, they can't do that either. I do mostly highway, and it looks like I beat on my car, and need new tires. Well, it's not even the second oil change with them, and I have to slow down in the rain, and will have no chance of making it through October. Worst tire I've ever had, period.
